Accordingly, when the piezoelectric element 2 is magnetized by a magnetic head 1, the current is supplied through the degaussing means to the coil and the magnetization is degaussed. thus, a bulk magnetic field is prevented from being generated and the magnetic head 1 is not affected by the magnetization of the piezoelectric element 2. Then, the head characteristic with high accuracy is secured.

    • PURPOSE:To easily and accurately attain an inter-gap length and a head height difference of a double-azimuth magnetic head by joining positive and negative azimuth core blocks with a nonmagnetic body between them. CONSTITUTION:A second core block half body 14 and a first core block half body 10 are fitted to each other with a track abutting groove 9 between them so that a magnetic body slope 9a of the groove 9 and a gap holding film 13 formed on the second core block half body 14 face each other and are brought into contact with each other, and a nonmagnetic joint member 15 is inserted to a glass filling groove 12 and a winding groove 11 and is fused and joined. A nonmagnetic body 2 whose both faces a low-melting point glass 20 is stuck is held between a positive azimuth core block 17 and a negative azimuth core block 19, and this glass is fused to join both core blocks 17 and 19. At this time, an inter-gap length l and a head height difference DELTAH are adjusted to regular values. Thus, the double-azimuth magnetic head where dimensions and the quantity of the inter-gap length and the head height difference are stable is obtained with a good yield.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the reliability by forming a nonmagnetic layer to both ends at the outside of a track width of a magnetic head so as to prevent the production of a step difference and air bubbles to a sliding face of a recording medium and prevent the occurrence of a damage to the recording medium thereby extending the service life of the magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:Step difference parts 11, 12 are formed in parallel with the recording medium running direction by gouging processing at the outside of a track width Tw of a recording medium sliding face 8 and a nonmagnetic layer 13 is formed to a track width forming slot 2 at the inner side of the steps 11, 12. The nonmagnetic substance layer is made of a material such as Al2O3, SiO2 or high melting point glass, and the wear resistance and the melting point of the material are selected higher than that of a bonding glass 6 bonding the magnetic cores 3, 4 in such a way that no air bubbles exist therein. Thus, no local wear is caused between the magnetic cores 3, 4 and no air bubble is produced in the nonmagnetic layer 13, then the recording medium is not damaged and the bonding strength of the magnetic cores 3, 4 is improved and the service life is extended.

Thus, since the metallic magnetic films 14a and 14b are formed in such way that their thick films are formed widely in the divergent shape in the direction of the back core part compared with a front core part, it is possible to always secure a width size of track width TW by an effective track width TBK even when a junction displaced angle thetaK is generated on a gap confronting plane at the time of joining the core half bodies 10 and 11, and to obtain a head characteristics with resulting high performance.

      SOLUTION: A plurality of rectangular bar-like members 15 are joined at predetermined spaces to a first plate 12 and a second plate 13 to form a wafer 21, and the wafer 21 is finished into predetermined thickness. A comb-type electrode 6 of the movable element is formed by providing a plurality of grooves on one face of the first plate 12, and the wafer 21 is cut into a plurality of parts at a plane which bisects the rectangular bar-like members 15 in the thickness direction, to form a plurality of hollow square bars 27. The hollow square bars 27 are further cut at a plane orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the square bars to form a plurality of movable elements 1.

In this way, a diffusion to the first and the second magnetic material cores 10, 11 of the silver solder is prevented as effectively as possible, and the joint effect is improved.
