SOLUTION: An acceleration estimation process 202 estimates the magnitude of the acceleration of an earthquake motion from earthquake intensity data inputted through an earthquake intensity data input process 101. A damage prediction process 103 has a relation among the magnitude of the acceleration of the earthquake motion, specification of the pipeline, a geology and the pipeline damage, as a function, and predicts the pipeline damage in a damage prediction object area based on the function, the estimated acceleration magnitude, a pipeline data file 111 and a geological data file 112. Then, a damage prediction result is displayed by a damage prediction result output device 50.

    • PURPOSE:To ensure a stable operation of a purification plant by providing a means which determines how many filter basins are to be started or stopped based on abnormal process detection signals from abnormal process detection means and, based on this number, starts or stops the operation of the filter basins. CONSTITUTION:A process condition signal is received by process condition signal receiving means 31 and 32 at a pretreatment stage including an outflow beam 15 for sedimentation basin. Abnormal process detection means 22 and 23 judge whether or not the process condition is normal, based on the process condition signal thus received and a predetermined value. When this process condition is judged as being abnormal, a means 25 for determining the number of filter basins receives abnormal process detection signal from the abnormal process detection means 22 and 23 to determine how many filter basins 16 are to be started or stopped and, based on such number, starts or stops the operation of filter basins 16 successively. This method permits the number of filter basins 16 in operation to be increased or decreased automatically in accordance with the amount of water to be treated at a purification plant, whereby the exposure of filter bed in the filter basins 16 can be prevented and a stable operation of the purification plant is ensured.

SOLUTION: The system includes a wide-angle camera 14 for imaging a road condition of both lanes in the curve section 1 of the road 10. A wide-angle image 23 taken by the wide-angle camera is converted to a planar image 24. A traveling speed of the vehicle in the curve section 1 is calculated from the converted planar image. The calculated traveling speed of the vehicle in the curve section 1 is displayed to drivers of other vehicles 12a and 12b on both lanes which are going to enter the curve section.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute the fine control of control valve by changing an opening/ closing output value from continuous one to a variable output width to avoid the problem of excessively opening, closing or the like depending of the control valve though it takes time to answer back valve opening. SOLUTION: When an opening output value with a variable output width from a central monitoring device 1 to execute the opening operation of a flow rate control valve 5 by way of a controller 2, a telemeter master station 3 and a telemeter slave station 4, an opening command is outputted. By making an output signal at this time a specific opening output value, the problem of excessive opening, closing or the like is eliminated though the answer back of a valve opening signal 7 is delayed. The fine control of the valve 5 from the device 1 is possible by making the opening output value variable. Next, at the time of executing the stop operation of the valve 5 by way of the controller 2, the station 3 and the station 4, a stopping command is outputted to stop the valve 5.

      SOLUTION: A road travelling support system comprises a wide angle camera 14 photographing a moving image 23 at a wide angel of road conditions in a curve section 1 on a road 10; a monitoring control device 20 image-converting the moving image 23 photographed by the wide angle camera into a plain image 24, and determines a type 30 of the road conditions from the plain image to output the type and the plain image 24 with the road conditions displayed thereon; and a plurality of communication devices 11a, 11b which are disposed near both ends of the section 1 on the road 10 and transmits by radio the type 30 inputted from the control device 20 and the plain image 24 with the road conditions displayed thereon toward vehicles 12a, 12b with receivers 41 facing the curve section 1 mounted thereon, respectively.
