    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging probe, an imaging method, and an MRI system which use the same principle for imaging an area in interest of a medium. SOLUTION: The probe comprises the first and second magnetic field sources (11a and 11b) and a receiver (12) for an NMR signal, wherein the first magnetic field source produces a static magnetic field 22 within a highly gradient magnetic area in the area in interest outside the probe, and the second source produces a time-dependent magnetic field, which is then given in the highly gradient static magnetic area to excite the atomic nuclei having their different resonance frequencies within at least one sub area in the static magnetic area, thereby to produce the NMR signal.
