    • PURPOSE:To improve drainage effect economically and uniformly by forming the title material of a belt-like drainage base material with projections and recesses forming spaces for water passage provided alternately and continuously and a filtering material equipped with supplementary filters that are extendedly provided on both sides of the base material. CONSTITUTION:To a drainage base material 1 made of materials including hard thermoplastic synthetic resin or the like as a principal ingredient, projections and recesses 1a are formed alternately and continuously in belt shapes. The projections-and-recesses-bearing drainage base material 1 is wrapped with hydrophilic filters 2, treated with surface active agent, having high filtering function, and extended parts 2a on both sides of the drainage base material 1 are also wrapped with supplementary filters. Then a plurality of the drainage materials are arranged with adjoining extended parts 2a of the filtering materials overlapped each other. Thereby drainage effect can be improved economically and uniformly with restrained use of the drainage base materials 1.

    • PURPOSE:To strengthen asphalt layer over the surface of a road by a method wherein belt-like substances are made of a plurality of polyoxymethelene linear substances that are laid in parallel and are coated with synthetic resin lamina and a reinforcing body is made thereby with intersections where the belt-like substances intersect at right angles each other bonded together and is extended and embedded at the middle of asphalt composite material. CONSTITUTION:Five polyoxymethelene linear substances 1 in 0.5mm diameter and having 40GPa of tensile modulus of elasticity are placed in parallel and are coated with synthetic resin lamina, and a belt-like substance 3 is formed thereby. The belt-like substances 3 are then placed in parallel at intervals in the two directions intersecting at right angles each other, and a reinforcing body 4 is made thereby with intersections bonded together. Then the reinforcing body 4 is extended and embedded roughly at the middle of a 10cm thick asphalt composite material and an asphalt layer is formed thereby as a surface layer of a road. As occasion demands, the reinforcing body 4 may be embedded in earthy structures other thant the asphalt, including bankings, retaining walls or roads, and positive reinforcement of soil layers can be made therewith. Thereby sliding collapses, cracks, ruttings and others can be prevented, resulting in practicable construction of strong earthy structures including bankings, roads and others.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bulkhead material which is excellent in workability and by which an inhabitable environment of aquatic animals and plants can be arranged and which can contribute to purifying a water quality by filling pebbles in net-like cylinder bodies installed by several pieces in parallel on durable base cloth by using a jet air current. SOLUTION: Synthetic resin or metallic wire net-made net-like cylinder bodies 3 are installed by several pieces in parallel on woven fabric or nonwoven fabric-made base cloth 2 of a raw material covered with synthetic resin durable fiber or a durable resin. Pebbles 4 having a diameter not more than 10cm are filled inside the net-like cylinder bodies 3 by an injector composed of a filling machine having double cylinders by using a Coanda effect by a jet air current of compressed air, and a mat-like bulkhead or bulkhead bed structure body 1 is formed. When the mat-like bulkhead or the bulkhead bed structure body 1 formed in this way is laid on the ground of rivers and lakes and marshes, it is brought into close contact with the ground by following a recess-projection and bending of the ground, and also flexibly copes with a change in the ground, and prevents erosion and a break. Flowing-down sand and mud accumulate between the pebbles 4, and create an environment suitable for growing aquatic animals and plants, and a water quality can also be purified.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily connect the overlapping portions of sheet materials and improve working efficiency by providing engagement protrusions on the opposite faces at the overlapping edges of sheets along the longitudinal direction and forming engagement recesses with grooves fittable to the engagement protrusions. SOLUTION: A sheet material 10 provides an engagement recess 40 and an engagement protrusion 30 for a sheet 20. The engagement protrusion 30 is formed on the bottom face 22 of the sheet 20, in the longitudinal direction at one edge on one face of the sheet 20. The engagement recess 40 is formed in the upper face 21 of the sheet 20, at the opposite edge of the engagement protrusion 30. in the longitudinal direction at one edge on one face of the sheet 20. When the sheet materials 10 are placed on a water bottom, the sheet materials 10 in a rolled condition are pulled down to the site water bottom. The sheet materials 10 are connected together in such a manner that the engagement protrusion 30 formed in the longitudinal direction at one edge of the preceding sheet material 10 is fitted to the engagement recess 40 formed in the longitudinal direction at the other edge of the following sheet material 10.
