    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize an unused space of a structure by incorporating water purifying equipment for incorporating sewage to biologically and physicochemically purifying treatment into the structure. SOLUTION: A nitrification tank 2 is installed by making a good use of an inner space A of a structure 3 and is provided with one or plural purifying zones 8 hung down in the vertical inner space and a collecting vessel 9 for collecting treated water below the purifying zones 8. Water to be treated in a denitrification tank 1 can be sprayed to the purifying zones 8. The water to be treated in the denitrification tank 1 is sprayed to the upper part of the nitrification tank 2 formed in the structure 3 through a pipeline 14. And when the water to be treated gradually flows down while going along plural porous columnar bodies forming the purifying zones 8 one by one and passes through the contracted parts of the porous columnar bodies, oxygen in air is dissolved into the porous columnar bodies and the decomposition/nitrification by microorganisms stuck on the porous columnar bodies proceeds. Since the effectively usage of an unused space inside and outside the structure can be attained, necessary area required for construction of a sewage treating facility can be reduced.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit a high sewage cleaning property by consisting of the cleaning device of columnar perforated columnar bodies and introducing water sheets of a porous structure connecting these perforated columnar bodies to each other and forming constricted parts to expose dropping water to air to the air between the perforated columnar bodies. SOLUTION: The sewage to be cleaned is supplied to sewage sprinkling means 4 from a supply pipe 52 from outside which is a sewage supplying means 5 disposed above a tank 2. When the prescribed volume of the sewage accumulates, the sewage leaks from the sits formed at the flanks of a vessel and flows down evenly over the entire width of a cleaning zone 3 disposed to face downward in the lateral parts of the sewage sprinkling means 4. The sewage flows down between the plural perforated columnar bodies disposed successively in the perpendicular direction of the introducing water sheets. At this time, the sewage flows down slowly while successively creeping along the respective perforated columnar bodies and, therefore, the sewage is successively decomposed and purified by the microorganism deposited on the performed columnar bodies. As this time, the fresh air is forcibly or naturally fed into the tank by an air supplying means 6, by which the effect of decomposing and cleaning the sewage by the microorganisms is made be made more vigorous.
