    • PURPOSE:To circulate a mixed liquid by always positioning a hollow fiber membrane module in the mixed liquid even when the water level of the mixed liquid in a treatment tank is varied by providing a large number of hollow fiber membranes moving up and down along with a movable pipe moving up and down corresponding to the fluctuation of a water level and circulating the mixed liquid in the treatment tank. CONSTITUTION:A fixed pipe 7 is set to the central part of a treatment tank 1 and a movable pipe 8 is externally fitted to said fixed pipe 7 so as to be slidable up and down with the rising and falling fluctuation of a water level WL by a buoyancy means 9 such as a float ring. A hollow fiber membrane module 2 and the movable pipe 8 are integrally connected and moved up and down with the fluctuation of the water level. The mixed liquid in the pipes 7, 8 is discharged out of the pipes by a screw 10 to be circulated in the treatment tank. By this constitution, the movable pipe and the hollow fiber membrane module moves up and down corresponding to the fluctuation of the water level of the mixed liquid and the hollow fiber membrane module is positioned in the mixed liquid to make it possible to effectively circulate the mixed liquid.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immersion type membrane separation and activated sludge apparatus for which flow rate-adjusting tank is not needed, which provides treated water with high quality even through a compact size, in which the quantity of the blowing air can be remarkably lessened as a whole, and of which the treatment function can be made appropriate. SOLUTION: This apparatus is constituted of an aeration tank 1 housing a membrane module 2 and an aeration pipe 3 and a treated water tank 7 to take treated water put of the aeration tank 1 through a siphon 9. The apparatus is so designed as to keep the water level change of the aeration tank 1 within a range from the highest water lever HWL and the lowest water lever LWL based on the estimation of the maximum flow rate of organic wastewater flowing into the aeration tank 1 and also as to keep the membrane surface of the membrane module 2 always under the lowest water level LWL and immersed in the wastewater and at the same time the membrane module 2 is so constituted as to be possible to treat the wastewater at the maximum inflow amount. Furthermore, the quantity of the treated water to be taken out is controlled based in the highest water lever HWL and the lowest water level LWL.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the disorder and entanglement of hollow-fiber membranes, to prolong the service life of the membrane, to easily exchange the membrane and to standardize the capacity, scale, etc., by packing many bundles of membranes freely movably into a honeycomb tube. CONSTITUTION:An air diffuser pipe 6 is arranged at the bottom of a bioreactor 3, air is supplied to the pipe 6 from an aeration blower 7, hence the org. matter introduced into the bioreactor 3 is adsorbed on an aerobe floc, oxidized and decomposed, and the sewage is purified. A liq. mixture introduced into a solid- liq. separation tank 12 is sucked into a suction chamber 13c through the micropores of the hollow-fiber membrane 13b in the honeycomb tube 13a, and the permeated liq. is drawn off from a water pipe 17 as treated water. Since many hollow-fiber membranes are packed in the honeycomb tube and modularized, the handling is facilitated, and the capacity can be standardized. The entanglement of the membranes is eliminated, and the service life of the membrane is prolonged.
