摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buried structure detecting system and a buried structure detecting method for detecting the existence, a position, a shape, or a material of to underground buried structure. SOLUTION: A lifting device 5-1 is supported by legs 6-1, makes lifting pole 7-1 telescopic, an a moves vertically a transmitter 9 provided for the tip of the lifting pole 7-1 in a shaft 4-1. A receiver 11 is moved horizontally on the ground. The transmitter 9 transmits radio waves and the receiver 11 receives the radio wave. A computer 3 takes the received radio waves, and determines existence, the position, shape, or material or a buried pipe 13 which is buried in the ground 2 based on a waveform of the radio waves.
