摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the thermal loss by setting a ring for sealing the gap between a piston and a cylinder on a high temperature chamber side in comparison with the high temperature chamber side edge part of an intermediate temperature heat exchanger when the piston is at least at top dead center. CONSTITUTION:As for a VM cycle drive type external thermal engine, gap sealing rings 9 and 5 are installed at the front and rear positions of the pistons 1 and 1 in a high temperature side cylinder 10 and a low temperature side cylinder 11 which cross at right angles. A high temperature heat exchanger 2 is installed in communication to the high temperature chamber 10a for cylinder 10 an a high temperature regenerator 3 and an intermediate temperature heat exchanger 4 are installed along the the outer periphery of the cylinder 10 at the top edge. Further, in the low temperature chamber 11a of the cylinder 11, a low temperature heat exchanger 8, low temperature regenerator 7, and an intermediate temperature heat exchanger 6 are installed along the outer periphery of the cylinder 11. In this case, a ring 9 is set on the high temperature chamber side in comparison with the high temperature chamber side edge part 12 of the intermediate temperature heat exchanger 4 at the top dead center, while set at the position on the low temperature chamber side in comparison with the intermediate temperature chamber side edge part 22 of the low temperature heat exchanger 8 when the piston 1 is at a bottom dead center.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce a consumption energy by a method wherein a waste heat recovery heat exchanger for recovering waste heat of a combustion device is disposed in a pipe for medium flowing from a heat radiation heat exchanger of an external combustion engine which is driven by heat of the combustion device. CONSTITUTION:As a rotating shaft 23 is driven by a motor of low output a high temperature side diaplacer 1 and a low temperature side disposer 2 are reciprocated with a phase of 90 deg. and then working gas is reciporcated within a heater 5. The heater 5 is being heated by a high temperature combustion gas continuously generated at a combustion device 24, so that the working gas reciprocating is kept at its high temperature state, remained high temperature combustion gas is heat exchanged with the combustion air in the air preheater 25 and further heat is supplied to the hot water with the waste heat recoverying heat exchanger 26, and the remained heat is discharged out of a discharging pipe 27 into the surrounding air. Accordingly, a heating capability is improved and at the same time the discharged heat recoverying heat exchanger performs a heat exchanging operation between the gas and liquid, so that a high efficiency of waste heat recoverying can be attained.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize the residual-heat of an instantaneous heater after heating control is executed to improve the hot water/cold water heating efficiency of heating medium circulating type heating equipment. SOLUTION: The heating medium circulating type heating equipment is provided with the instantaneous heater 35 equipped with a heat exchanger 43, a gas burning burner 36, and an air supply fan 37 for a combustion chamber 44; a hot water/cold water circulating means E which circulates hot water/cold water between the heater 35 and heat-consuming terminals 1 and 2, and a heating control means C which controls the circulated flow rate of the hot water/cold water and the operation of the heater 35. When the supply of the hot water/cold water to the terminals 1 and 2 is demanded, the control means C controls the circulated flow rate of the hot water/cold water or the heating quantity by means of the heater 35 so that the hot water/cold water heating temperature by means of the heater 35 may become a target temperature. When the demand disappears, the control means C executes heating control for stopping the burning operation of the burner 37. When the control means C completes the execution of the heating control, the means C executes operation control for preventing post boiling by controlling the speed of rotation of the fan 37 so that the hot water/cold water staying in the heater 35 may be maintained at a set temperature.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate any waste in heat recovery and improve the efficiency thereof by minimizing unnecessary heating by an auxiliary heat source. SOLUTION: A fixed time after a thermal on-off valve is opened to start to supply and circulate heating water, a quantity of supplied heat necessary for heating to a set temperature is computed according to the temperature of the heating water, set heating and a flow rate in a heating circulating circuit. A determination is next made whether the quantity of supplied heat can be covered by a quantity of generated heat in a gas engine corresponding to a quantity of recovered heat from waste heat of the gas engine or not. If such coverage is impossible, heating of the heating water by the auxiliary heat source is started.
