    • PURPOSE:To permit to secure averaged electric power demand by a method wherein an operating means is provided to move the peak of electric power of the electric water heater toward the center of a specified time band. CONSTITUTION:In case the conduction time for a heater is estimated to become shorter than the specified time band, a conduction beginning time is delayed than the beginning of the specified time band so that a non-conduction time is distributed to the foreward and afterward of the conduction time in the specified conduction time. The operating means 6 reads out a heat-up temperature, corresponding to a feed water temperature, from a hot-water temperature control pattern memorized in second memory 11 and a time shift, corresponding to the feed water temperature, the heat-up temperature and a remaining hot-water amount, from third memory 12 while a signal is sent to an output means 15 immediately to control the conduction of the heater 16 when the time shift is zero. When there is the time shift, a timer accommodated in the operating means 6 is driven, the signal is sent to the output means 15 after the time shift elapsed and, thus, the conduction of the heater 16 is controlled. When the temperature of hot-water 20 is detected by the temperature sensor 1 and the hot-water 20 is heated up to the heat-up temperature thereof, the conduction of the heater 16 is interrupted.

    • PURPOSE:To make a simple structure of a hot water heater with a mid-night elctric power application and one-week reservation system by a method wherein an energization or de-energizatioi of the heater is judged with information stored in mid-night electric power application reservation memory and the day of the week specifying memory and at the same time the day of the week specicifying memory is updated. CONSTITUTION:Day of the week LEDs 19a-19g and today's day of the week display LED20a is lit, then the corresponding day of the week reservation switches 18a-18g are operated to set the today's flag in the day of the week memory. The selection switch 21 is reoperated to turn off LEDs 19a -19g and 20a, a hot waer heating day reservation display LED20b is lit and the energization allowance for the specified day is stored in the memory by reservation switches 18a-18g. With this arrangement, the microcomputer may judge the energization and de-energization with the desired program together with the feeding of the mid-night electric power with the desired program so as to control the heater and at the same time the day of week in the memory is updated and changed to the next day. With this arrangment, a system of changing of the day of the week may be simplified.

    • PURPOSE:To make a convenient operation manner of a hot water heater of mid- night power aplication having one week reservation by a method wherein an energization and de-energization of the heter are controlled with a reserved memory information and when re-energized after the suspenuim of power, the reservation memory for each of the days of the week is cancelled to enable all the units to be energized. CONSTITUTION:An operation part of the device is provided with reservation switches 18a-18g ranging from Sunday to Saturday, days of week LEDs 19a- 19g and a selection switch 21. Under operation of the selection switch 21 and the reservation switches 18a-18g, a todary flag is set in the days of week specifying memory 92 and a reservation flag is set in a reservation memory 91 in a microcomputer not shown. With this arrangement, each of the days of week LEDs 19a-19g is lit. The microcomputer may judge a setting of days of the week, energization and de-energization of the system so as to perform the desired control. In case of a failure of electric power and a recovery of the system, all the reserved contents of memory are cancelled in accordance with the desired program and all the units are set to have an energization flag.

    • PURPOSE:To make a positive setting of temperature even in a winter season or the like by a method wherein an auxiliary heater is energized in a hot water heater with mid-night power application in case that the water temperature in the temperature keeping tank is not reached to the desired temperature by the time of completion of feeding of mid-night electric power. CONSTITUTION:Outputs from hot water sensors 12-14 arranged in a temperature keeping tank and feeding water sensor 17 are inputted to the microcomputer. When the mid-night electric power input information is inputted at a terminal (i) of a connector 54, a fixed setting tempeature of, for example, 87 deg.C is set as a boiling temperature without any relation to a water temperature 17 and then the mid-night heater 15 is energized. When the sensing temperature of the temperature sensor 12 is reached to 87 deg.C, the energization of the heater 15 is turned OFF. Then, it is judged whether the sensed hot water temperature 12 is reached to 87 deg.C or not at the time of completion of the mid-night electric power feeding time and if it is not reached to the temperature, a day time electric power is supplied at once to the auxiliary heater 16. With this arrangement, it is possible to make a positive setting of the temperature of hot water.

In case there is even one day, in which a hot-water remaining amount is small, among past 7 days when the days, in which hot-water is not used at all, are continued, the feed water temperature of the day may be determined correctly substantially and the hot-water may be heated up to the optimum heat-up temperature.

    • PURPOSE:To effectively and previously prevent a water cut phenomenon by controlling the conduction of an upper side heater and a lower side heater both located in a hot water tank such that the conduction of the upper side heater has preference to that to the load side heater. CONSTITUTION:In a midnight power service time, power is first supplied to an upper heater 14 by the control of conduction by a controller 18, whereby an upper portion from the heater 14 is rapidly boiled. When hot water is used for midnight bathing, showering, etc., the amount of the hot water in a tank is correspondingly reduced. In this occassion, since the power has been supplied to the upper heater 14 based upon temperature detection by an upper temperature sensor 15, the upper portion in the tank is again boiled after the elapse of certain time into high temperature hot water. Once supply water heating by the upper heater 14 is completed, power is supplied to a lower heater 13 by the controller 18 to heat and boil water stored in the lower portion in a hot water storing tank 10. Following the boiling, the whole water in the hot water tank 10 is boiled.

CONSTITUTION:When a pump 6 is driven upon energization of an electric heater 5 for the purpose of heating the water 13 in a bathtub 12, heat of heater 5 is transmitted to an insulation oil 4. This heated insulation oil 4 is press fed by a pump 6 to circulate in a heat exchanger 10 through the intermediary of an oil flow route 8. The heat of the insulation oil 4 is transmitted to the water in a water tank 9 through the intermediary of the heat exchanger 10. On the other hand, the bath water 13 flows in the water tank 9 through the water flow route 11 to undergo a heat by the heat exchanger 10. The heated water comes back in the bathtub 12 under a natural circulation through the water flow route 11, and the bath 13 is gradually heated. In this composition, the electric heater, the pump 6 and the bath water 13 are electrically insulated through the insulation oil 4, and a person who takes a bath is not in danger of being electrified.

    • PURPOSE:To perform the heating safely without wasting the water in the bath tube by connecting a heat exchanger in a heating tank, which comprises an oil tank having it an electric heater for heating insulating oil and the heat exchanger for transferring the heat of insulating oil to the water, with the interior of the bath tub by a water conduit. CONSTITUTION:When the electric heater 4 in the heating tank is energized by a heater activating circuit 3, the heat from the electric heater 4 is transferred to a heat exchanger 5 through insulating oil 2 filled in the oil tank 1. Meanwhile, water 9 in the bath tub 8 flows to the heat exchanger through a water conduit 6 to be heated by the heat exchanger 5. The water so heated returns to the bath tub 8 through the water conduit by natural circulation, and the water 9 in the bath tub 8 is gradually heated without being wasted. Since the electric heater 4 is electrically insulated from the water 9 to be heated in the bath tub 8 by the insulating oil 2, there will be no risk of electrical leak, and so, the water 9 in the bath tub 8 can be safely heated.
