    • PURPOSE:To surely extinguish fire caused in housing cases by providing an innert gas generating device separately from a gas supplying device in a storage tank and supplying the gas so as to keep the gas pressure in a tank constant when the pressure of the innert gas in the tank being lowered. CONSTITUTION:A pressure sensor 34 is connected to a controlling device 60 in an innert gas pressurizing and supplying device, a vacuum pump 41 and a compressor 32 are operated when the pressure of a nitrogen gas in a tank 5 decreases to the extent less than a predetermined value, and subsequently the pump 41 and the compressor 32 are halted when the gas pressure reaches to the upper limit. Gas, the concentration of which has been increased in a nitrogen enriching chamber 44, is supplied via a nitrogen acquring piping 49 into the tank 5, thereby quickly restoring the pressure of the nitrogen gas in the tank 5 up to the predetermined pressure if it is lowered with the passage of time. Next, when any solid electrolyte tube is broken in a plurality of housing cases 1 resulting in fire caused by the reaction of molten Na and S, a fire detecting device 3 detects it so that a fire extinguishing agent 4 in the tank 5 is charged into the case 1.

    • PURPOSE:To enable a long large insulating tube or the like to be certainly washed with a less water quantity also in case of wind generation by spraying water regulating the horizontal angles of nozzles in the direction for cancelling the deflection of jet stream due to wind, based on a wind speed vector obtained with the measurement of an average wind direction and wind speed at an insulator setting position. CONSTITUTION:A wind direction and a wind speed at an insulator setting position are measured by a sensor, and arithmetic for resolving wind speed vectors B1 obtained with this measurement, into vectors B2 in the directions of center lines for connecting respective nozzles 5 to an insulating tube 10 with, and vectors B3 in the directions orthogonal to the vectors B2, is performed. Then, according to the scales of the vectors B3 to be horizontal wind to the direction of sprayed stream from the respective nozzles 5, a servo-motor 6 is driven, and the respective nozzles 5 are rotationally moved to the windward sides, namely, sides opposite to the vectors B3. The regulating quantity of a horizontal angle in this case is determined based on a deflection quantity due to the horizontal wind of the sprayed stream found empirically and previously.

    • PURPOSE:To accurately and automatically detect abnormality in an insulator- washing device so as to notify a control station of the abnormality by storing a secular change in each of flow signal into a flowmeter joined to the primary side a pump or to the secondary side thereof, and then connecting an arithmetic processing device which finds an abnormal flow change to the flowmeter. CONSTITUTION:A flowmeter 14 is joined to the secondary side of the main valve 5 of a pump 2 to detect a flow signal on the amount of water flowing through this secondary-side part during operation of an insulator-cleaning device. The flow signal extracted from the flowmeter 14 is then inputted into an arithmetic processing device 15 attached to a control board 10. This arithmetic processing device 15 stores a secular change in each of flow signal extracted from the flowmeter 14 while enclosing a program for finding an abnormal flow change and automatically transmitting a signal indicating abnormality, given out when the abnormality is acknowledged, to a control station to make a request for repair and inspection of the device. Thus, abnormality can surely be detected to automatically notify the control station of the abnormality.
