摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a method for treating a waste gas with a durable catalyst having high desulfurizing and denitrating performance by granulating a porous carbon particle having a small specific surface and contg. transition metal along with a false boehmitestructure hydrous alumina, smectite, etc., and using the granulation product in desulfurizing and denitrating the waste gas. CONSTITUTION:A waste gas 5 contg. SOx and/or NOx is brought into contact with a catalyst 3 consisting of the granulated composition contg. a transition metal component and a sulfur component, contg. a porous carbon particle having 5-50m /g BET specific surface and a false boehmite-structure hydrous alumina in (1:1.4) to (3:1) weight ratio and further contg. 10-30wt.%, based on the total weight, synthetic or natural smectite-group clay mineral or synthetic or natural zeolite. The catalyst has high desulfurizing and denitrating performance and excellent resistance to powdering and durability. Since this carbon is easily available, the catalyst cost is remarkably reduced.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent waste clay from sticking to the interior of a furnace and at the same time realize the uniform heating of the waste clay and further, efficiently performing the carbonization, decomposition and recovery of an oil content contained in the waste clay by dry-distillating part of the coil content contained in the waste clay and at the same time, carbonizing the remaining part of the oil content. SOLUTION: Waste clay containing an oil content is charged into a substantially air tight rotary furnace 1 comprising a mixing, dispersing and circulating flow area 18 and a piston flow area 19. Next, the internal temperatures of the rotary furnace 1 are maintained at 300-700 deg.C, and the pulverized and/or pasty waste clay containing a massive matter is charged into a high temperature pulverized grain layer in the mixing, dispersing and circulating flow area 18. Thus the waste clay is dispersed and shredded into a granule or a small mass covered with a pulverized grain and at the same time, part of the oil content contained in the waste clay is carbonized. Further, part of the processed waste clay product obtained by carbonizing and pulverizing at least, part of the coil content is circulated through the mixing, dispersing and circulating flow area 18 and at the same time, part of the remainder is delivered into the piston area 19 to continue its thermal processing.
