    • PURPOSE:To prevent an increase in the contact resistance, by a method wherein blade terminals (projection) of a socket terminal for separating direct connection between a power source side wire and a load side wire are built up with an insulator at least on one side thereof to come off sliding against blade receiving terminals so that the corrosion and the entry of a foreign matter will be prevented by a cleaning action. CONSTITUTION:To mount the body 20 of a watt-hour meter, blade-like terminals 24a-24d are inserted into blade receiving terminals 31a-31d of a socket terminal box 30. Here, as the length of an insulator projection 25 is shorter than the jut length of the blade-like terminals 24a and 24c, first the blade-like terminals 24a-24d are inserted into the respective terminals 31a-31d to supply power to a voltage coil 21 and a current coil 22. Then, the projection 25 is inserted into the blade receiving terminal 33 to separate the direct connection between a power source side wire 2b and a load side wire 3b. Since the projection 25 and the blade-like terminals 24a-24d are sliden against the terminal 33 and those 31a-31d respectively when inserted thereinto, any foreign matters on the respective terminals 33 and 31a-31d are forced out and any corrosion is scraped off.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate assembly, decomposition, and maintenance by constructing a die heater in two split structure, wherein the heater is to heat a communication pipe to connect a liquid return pipe to an evaporation pipe. CONSTITUTION:A communication pipe 30 ties a liquid return pipe 8 to an evaporation pipe 9. A heat source 31a consists of a heater wire and an electric insulative substance, while a die 31b of two split structure is made of a metal giving high thermal conductivity. A die heater 31 is embodied in a single piece with the heat source 31a and die 31b, while a heat insulation 32 is provided to suppress radiation of the generated heat to the outside. The die heater 31 of two split structure is put in pressure contact to the communication pipe 30 by a holddown bolt 33, while the communication pipe 30 and die heater 31 are contacting at the plane 34. A fin 30a lessens the heat conducting resistance inside of the communication pipe 30. Liquid is heated by the communication pipe 30, and gas is introduced to an evaporation pipe 12, and a gas circulation drive force is induced which generates equilibrium of the fluid loss due to vapor generation with the liquid level (h) in the liquid return pipe 8. Because of this two split structure of the die heater, assembly, decomposition, and maintenance can be done easily.

    • PURPOSE:To cool high temperature water and to save fuel by a method wherein a heat exchanger is installed in a water receiving tank to exchange heat from high temperature water to air supplied from the outside for combustion, in a water making equipment from gas contg. water by use of an adsorbent. CONSTITUTION:In an equipment producing water from gas contg. water by using the adsorption and desorption action of an adsorbent 1a in a container 1, air for combusting burner 5a is supplied from blower 5b, and guided into the housing 25 of a heat exchanger 21, as shown by the arrow A. This cools one end of heat pipes 23 and the other side of which is heated by high temperature water 6a and fins 22 in a water receiving tank 20. This effects efficient heat transfer from high temperature to low temperature side. As a result, combustion air supplied to the burner 5a is preheated and thereby enhances the combustion efficiency and saves fuel cost. At the same time, high temperature water in the tank 20 is cooled.
