摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slider for a pantograph capable of achieving much a better current collecting state. SOLUTION: A plurality of angled grooves 12 are provided in such a way as to be roughly parallel to each other on the contacting surface 11 with a trolley wire 5 in a slider 10 for a pantograph. Each angled groove 12 is formed in the direction of crossing the trolley wire 5, so that the cross section of the contacting surface 11 along the trolley wire 5 has a recessed part. Also, the angled grooves 12 are formed from one edge part 16 to the other edge part 17. When utilizing this slider 10, because the angled grooves 12 are formed on the contacting surface 11, a contacting area with the trolley wire 5 becomes small compared with the even contacting surface of the conventional system and conversely a contacting pressure increases. This makes it possible to keep an electrical contact with the trolley wire 5 more reliable than the conventional method and to obtain an effect of the further improvement of power collecting state.

摘要： A lightweight regenerative brake having a large braking force is provided. A regenerative brake 1 comprises a brake disc (10) and a pair of stators (20) to perform regenerative braking. This regenerative brake (1) reduces the heat generated in the brake disc (10), because a part of the kinetic energy of a railway car is regenerated by generation of electricity in a tertiary circuit of the power source side when the brake is applied, and consequently the amount of energy converted into heat energy is decreased. Compared to a conventional regenerative brake, this regenerative brake (1) enables the disc (10) to be made thinner and dispenses with a cooling device such as a fan. Accordingly, a small-sizes and lightweight brake having a large braking force can be constituted using this regenerative brake (1).

CONSTITUTION:A main circuit current detector 1 detects a main circuit current value and sends the current value to an arithmetic and logic unit 3. Also, a clock 2 sends the present time to the arithmetic and logic unit 3. Said arithmetic and logic unit 3 stores a current value for a past given period of time and obtains a root mean square value of electric current during that period of time and RMS current by said current value. Then, said unit 3 obtains a cut-off current value to be set by said RMS current. The arithmetic and logic unit 3 sends the cut-off current value obtained by said method as a cut-off current value command to a main circuit controller 4. Then, the main circuit controller 4 sets a cut-off current on the basis of said cut-off current value command. In this manner, it is possible to obtain an accelerating force making the capabilities of a main circuit apparatus to the maximum.

After a specified period of time has elapsed, only a second vacuum switch 17 is left as is turned on, so that electrical power is fed to the intermediate section 11 only from the side of Osaka, In this case, since there occurs no stoppage of electric current when the feeder is switched over, passengers can enjoy their comfort ableness because electrical equipment loaded over the train is not adversely affected by electrical shock, and the acceleration of the train will never be interrupted even when the train is powered up in running.

摘要： PURPOSE:To effectively detect power interruption during regeneratively braking irrespective of various conditions of a power system by detecting a frequency of a voltage of a transformer, and indicating the fact that an AC power source is interrupted when the frequency is deviated out of a set range. CONSTITUTION:A voltage detector 20 for detecting any voltage of primary, secondary and tertiary windings of a transformer 4 is provided, and a frequency of the detected voltage of the detector 30 is calculated by a frequency calculator 21. Further, a deviation is added to an output of the calculator 21, and an operating frequency reference of a pulse width modulation type converter is calculated by an adder 22. A power interruption detection signal indicating interruption of an AC power source by the fact that the output of the calculator 21 is deviated out of a previously set range is output from power interruption detecting means 23. Accordingly, the power interruption can be correctly detected.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regenerative brake which has a small size and a light weight even by increasing a brake force and which can efficiently generate thrust. SOLUTION: Since a disc part 16 of a brake disc 10 is exposed at a magnetic disc 162 to the surface of a good conductor disc 161, a magnetic gap due to a thickness of the disc 161 can be remarkably reduced, and a generated magnetic flux is increased as compared with the case that the whole disc surface 12 is occupied by a good conductor. An eddy current induced in the disc 161 is slightly reduced by decreasing its flowing route, but since a bar 161a is formed along the radial direction of the disc, thrust is generated in the tangential direction of the disc 10 by a current flowing in its direction, and hence a reduction in a current component for outputting an electromagnetic force of a rotative direction can be suppressed.
