    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeder switching control device capable of preventing electrical equipment loaded over a train from being shocked, and of improving the comfort ableness of passengers. SOLUTION: In this feeder switching control device 10, in a state that a train TR has not passed through an intermediate section 11, only a first vacuum switch is turned on, electrical power is fed to the intermediate section 11 only through a stringing 51 on the side of Tokyo. When the train TR passes through the intermediate section 11, in the case of no fear that over-current flows, when both of the stringings 51, 54 are connected to each other, both of switches 15 and 17 are turned on for the specified period of time after the whole of the train TR entered the intermediate section 11 so as to let electrical power be fed to the intermediate section 11 from both the strigings 51 and 54 (parallel feeder). After a specified period of time has elapsed, only a second vacuum switch 17 is left as is turned on, so that electrical power is fed to the intermediate section 11 only from the side of Osaka, In this case, since there occurs no stoppage of electric current when the feeder is switched over, passengers can enjoy their comfort ableness because electrical equipment loaded over the train is not adversely affected by electrical shock, and the acceleration of the train will never be interrupted even when the train is powered up in running.
