摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent air from remaining between a dielectric layer and an elastic roll by thermally shrinking a heat-shrinkable tube inserted with the elastic roll under a reduced pressure, thereby forming the dielectric layer. CONSTITUTION:A conductive elastic material compsn. (e.g.: a compsn. consisting of ethylene propylene diene rubber, Ketjen black, oil and vulcanizer) is formed in a laminar state on a metallic shaft and is subjected to die vulcanization; thereafter, the surface is polished to obtain the conductive elastic roll 6. The roll 6 is then inserted into the heat-shrinkable tube 7 and is put into a reduced pressure heating vessel 9. The pressure in the vessel 9 is reduced and is heated in this state to shrink the tube 7 by which the dielectric-coated roll is obtd. The tube 7 is then adhered tightly to the roll 6 along the ruggedness of the seam of the die on the roll and the remaining of the air therebetween is prevented and, therefore, the electrical characteristics are uniformized.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the titled roller whose conductivity is uniform and which is not influenced by temperature, etc., by forming a surface layer by a conductive resin layer consisting of a conductive resin composite composed mainly of a dispersion being in a state that a 5-heterocyclic polymer has been dispersed uniformly in a thermoplastic resin matrix. CONSTITUTION:As for a conductive roller, a conductive resin layer 11 is formed directly or through an adhesive agent layer on the outside peripheral surface of, for instance, a metallic shaft 10. As for the conductive resin layer 11, for instance, in a solvent which can dissolve both a thermoplastic resin and a 5-heterocyclic polymer, the thermoplastic resin is dissolved first, and in its solution, a 5-heterocyclic compound is dissolved, and thereafter, by dropping an oxidizing agent, a resin liquid which has polymerized the 5-heterocyclic compound is made. Subsequently, the outside peripheral surface of the metallic shaft 10 is coated with this resin liquid and formed by dry coating. In such a way, the roller having an excellent characteristic, whose conductivity is uniform and also, which is not influenced by temperature and humidity is obtained.
