    • The existing problem is supplying fuel at a fixed flow rate to a fuel cell, and moreover, miniaturization of the device in which the fuel cell is loaded, in a fuel cartridge for a fuel cell. The fuel cartridge for a fuel cell 1 is equipped with a container main body 2 that is equipped with a connection part 22 that connects to the fuel cell, and houses the fuel F that is supplied to the fuel cell in its interior, and a push out means P for pushing out the fuel F, and a valve 4 that has a supply port 41a for supplying fuel to the fuel cell, and that opens the supply port 41a in response to the operation connecting the container main body 2 tothe fuel cell. On the connection part 22 there is provided a pressure regulating mechanism 5, one end of which communicates with the valve 4, and the other end of which communicates with the inside of the container main body 2, and that causes the fuel F that is housed in said interior to flow out to the valve 4, by regulating to a secondary pressure lower than the primary pressure inside the container main body 2.

    • The problem to solve is providing a fuel-cell cartridge connector that protects the fuel-cell- holding appliance from damage when a external force which exceeds the allowable range, is applied to the fuel cell cartridge. To solve the problem a fuel-cell connector (1) is provided, comprising: an outwardly facing fuel supply opening (12a) provided on one end of a fuel-cell cartridge body (31) that has a fuel-cell chamber (311) for containing a fuel F to be supplied to the fuel-cell cartridge (3) and a connecting projection member (11c) that surrounds the aforementioned fuel-supply opening (12a); said fuel cell connector (1) being intended for releasable connection to an appliance (4) that contains the fuel cell, has an outwardly facing fuel-receiving opening (2a) for receiving fuel F and has a connection portion (2) that corresponds to the aforementioned connecting projection member (11c), the fuel-cell connector (1) being characterized by a provision of at least one or more structures out of a plurality of such structures which are breakable from the aforementioned fuel-cell chamber (311) at a predetermined distance therefrom and out of a plurality of disconnectable structures which can be separated from the connection portion (2) when the connecting projection member is connected to the connection portion so that the fuel- receiving opening communicates with the fuel-receiving opening and when an external force that exceeds a predetermined value is applied to the fuel-cell cartridge (3).
