SOLUTION: A atmospheric gas generating machine comprises a furnace body 10, a combustion chamber 11 provided therein, at least one retort tube 2 provided in the combustion chamber 11, a combustor to eject the flame to the combustion chamber 11 and a heat storage type burner 5 having a heat storage body. An inlet pipe to introduce the raw gas is connected to the retort tube 2. The reactive catalyst to react the raw gas with the atmospheric gas fills the retort tube 2.
