摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve detection sensitivity without damaging the epitope part of an antigen in a specimen by performing inactivation treatment for a virus antigen and then performing detection operation. SOLUTION: The inactivation treatment of an antigen is made to a specimen that may contain the antigen, and then detection measurement is made, thus eliminating contagion force and securing safety in measurement operation. The inactivation treatment differs from disinfection, inactivates the antigen under gentle conditions such as the addition of low-concentration of formaldehyde, acid, alkali, and surface-active agent, thus improving the detection sensitivity of the antigen. For example, in the case of adenovirus, the adenovirus is inactivated by heating at approximately 60 deg.C for two hours, thus improving detection sensitivity. Also, contagion force is burned down, thus eliminating the risk of contagion in measurement. Although heating conditions differ depending on the type of the antigen, heating may be generally made at approximately 50-70 deg.C for 1-3 hours.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably and accurately measure UGF(urinary gonadotropin fragment) even after storage by measuring the UGF in urine without separating a settlement being generated when fusing a urine specimen being frozen and stored. SOLUTION: UGF is partially insoluble in urine that has been fused by freezing and storing. When the UGF is to be measured, a settlement is dissolved uniformly, and liquid is sampled and measured. For dissolving the settlement uniformly, a dilute solution being used when measuring the UGF such as the dilute solution containing protein that does not affect the reaction system of an inorganic salt buffer solution near pH 7 at a concentration for indicating at least a constant conductivity (approximately 60 ms/cm or higher), bovine serum albumin, and the like, and further solution containing a salt with pH 7 for indicating the equivalent conductivity for dissolving the settlement, thus stably measuring a specimen that has been frozen and stored at least for two months.

It is possible to detect and identify the adenovirus 37-type by reacting the monoclonal antibody with a specimen and to provide a clinical diagnostic agent for the adenovirus 37-type, comprising the monoclonal antibody. The monoclonal antibody is useful as a prophylactic and a therapeutic agent to adenovirus-associated diseases because of its neutralizing ability.
