    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provided a transceiver which utilizes antenna diversity for transmission, based on the receiving property of an antenna related to a transmitting antenna.
      SOLUTION: It is a transceiver including a means which enables to evaluate at least two receiving antennas 1, 2, 16, 17 and a receiving quality 7 and 7' about each of the above-mentioned antenna, at least two different transmitting antennas 3, 4 (each is related to at least one receiving antenna) from the above-mentioned receiving antenna, and a transmitting antenna selecting means 9 to select the above-mentioned transmitting antenna which should be used. The selected transmitting antenna is characterized by being a transmitting antenna related to the above-mentioned receiving antenna corresponding to the highest receiving quality.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage a data frame to be transmitted by using software with a relatively long processing time. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method for managing the transmission of data frames in a station of a wireless network and a station using said method. It is applied to the stations of a wireless network of the 802.11 type. According to the invention, for each data frame, a frame descriptor is generated, the descriptors of the data frames to be transmitted during the contention-free time slot or the ATIM window are stored in at least one memory M1 of the station, and the descriptors of the data frames to be transmitted during the contention slot are stored in a memory M2. Then, during the contention-free slot or the ATIM window, the frames whose descriptors are stored in the memory M1 are sent, followed by the frames whose descriptors are stored in the memory M2 during the contention slot.
