摘要： A method for mapping from an MPEG-2 transport stream to an IP-based RTP/UDP/IP stack for broadcasting service in a WLAN. All the mapping functions may be performed in a receiver transcoder (Fig. 2). Mobile devices such as laptop computers, cell phones and PDAs have limited battery power, CPU processing and memory resources. To reduce CPU processing power and consumption battery power in these devices certain data processing functions are achieved in the communicating systems, such as the de-multiplexer function (240) that typically prepares an MPEG-2 for retransmission at the local level. When a transcoder, capable of de-multiplexing an MPEG-2 transport stream (105) receives a program it de-multiplexes the stream based on PIDs (204) assigned to each transport packet. This de-multiplexing function extracts several components from a transport stream: video and audio PES/ES (112, 212) associated with programs and PSI (203) (PAT (204, 251) and PMTs (206, 258)).

In order to maximize quality of service, the system provides for a method of inhibiting the mobiles terminals from attempting to gain control of the downlink (16) channel during transmission of program information. In particular, the WLAN (12) access point transmits data frames that are separated an inter-frame time period that is shorter than a first inter-frame period defined by the communications standard for allowing a device to gain control of the transmission channel.

For an optimization of both, there is a need to differ between unimportant and important detail information in videos, and to preserve the important while discarding the unimportant detail information. One solution is video cartoonization. A method for processing video data comprises edge processing a received image and overlaying the edge processed image to the received image, wherein the video data are cartoonized. A respective cartoonization device can be widely used, for example within monitoring systems, broadcast systems, video transmitters, video receivers and others.

摘要： The invention is related with the problem of utilizing data compression in a network of distributed stations. Often header compression is used to improve the bandwidth usage in networks, in particular wireless networks. Header compression could be implemented in access points or routers, but both implementations have serious problems, e.g. due to limited CPU power, lack of scalability, or handover latency. To resolve the problems the invention proposes to use a dedicated data compression server in the network and a new protocol to transparently deploy data compression in the network.

The inventive method for non-photorealistic rendering comprises determining a feature map of the input image and edge processing the input image under guidance of the feature map. Through guidance of the feature map processing of real edges is ensured while processing of artificial edges is avoided. This results in improved edge processing.

摘要： The invention provides a stable concentrated dairy liquid, such as concentrated milk, with improved flavor, color, and mouthfeel, and a method of production thereof. The method utilizes specific thermal treatments to produce the stable concentrated dairy liquid to which a stabilizer and mouthfeel enhancer are added. The resulting products have a sterilization value F 0 of at least 5 that is also resistant to gelling and browning during high temperature sterilization and is also resistant to gelling and browning during storage for greater than six months. The method balances such thermal treatments with addition of stabilizer and enhancer to achieve the desired flavor / mouthfeel and sterilization and to achieve reduced level of soluble protein in the concentrated milk prior to concentration to resist gelation and minimize browning. Moreover, such processing may be utilized in a milk that is concentrated to a factor of 2.7 fold or higher and contains at least 8.5 percent protein.
