摘要： A method and an apparatus for cloning an object from a source image to a target image are suggested. The suggested method comprises: creating a segmentation curve for the object to be cloned in the source image; applying a gradient based cloning approach to the object to be cloned with the segmentation curve to obtain a reconstructed image; adapting the segmentation curve and stopping the adaption according to a comparison between a stopping criterion and a threshold, wherein the stopping criterion is calculated as a function of the spatial gradients in the surroundings of the segmentation curve in the reconstructed image; and cloning the object with the adapted segmentation curve to the target image. Upon the validation of the user, the modified segmentation curve is used for the cloning process, which can improve the subjective quality of the cloning even with low-quality segmentation.

摘要： The invention relates to a method of encoding and decoding an image sequence by means of hierarchical temporal analysis. According to the invention, movement-compensated temporal filtering (MCTF) is performed, the temporal filtering being replaced by intra mode encoding in order to obtain at least one low (L)- or high (H)-frequency image if the current image has a level of correlation with a preceding image that is below a threshold. The low (L)-frequency images obtained are subsequently adjusted to scale in order to be adapted in terms of energy to the images obtained by movement-compensated temporal filtering. The invention is characterised in that, at the end of the analysis, it comprises the following steps: selection of the images obtained by intra encoding of an image of the lower decomposition level with the additional condition, for the high-frequency images, said image originating from intra encoding; and calibration of the selected image, involving at least one step that is the reverse of the scale adjustment step. The invention also relates to the applications thereof in relation to video compression with temporal prediction.
