摘要： This hollow shaft member 10 includes paired diameter-reduced sections 11 respectively formed at both shaft ends of a hollow shaft-like tubular material by performing swaging processing on both the shaft ends, and an intermediate section 12 located between the paired diameter-reduced sections, and having an outer diameter larger than an outer diameter of the paired diameter-reduced sections. Shapes of connection boundaries between the intermediate section 12 and the diameter-reduced sections 11 are formed as perpendicular step-shaped sections 13 stepped substantially perpendicular to an axial direction, and the perpendicular step-shaped sections 13 are formed by the swaging processing. With such a configuration, a hollow shaft member for a rolling device in which a weight reduction has been achieved can be provided.

摘要： A motion guide apparatus is provided which can make a carriage compact without reducing a rated load and an allowable load. The motion guide apparatus includes: a track member (1) and a carriage (2) that moves along the track member (1). A circulation path (7) of the carriage (2) includes a loaded path (C1), a return path (C2) parallel to the loaded path (C1), and a substantially U-shaped turn path (C3) connected to the loaded path (C1) and the return path (C2). At least a part of the turn path (C3) bends in side view in a direction where the loaded path (C1) and the return path (C2) coincide.

摘要： A ball housing band is provided which can encourage increases in precision and rigidity of a motion guide apparatus and make the motion guide apparatus compact. A ball housing band includes: a housing band including a band formed with ends, the band having at least two rows of opening portions, and a plurality of spacers placed between the opening portions of the rows; and at least two rows of balls housed in the at least two rows of the opening portions. One of adjacent rows of and the other row of the balls are placed in a staggered arrangement in a state where the spacers are disposed between the balls and between the balls. The one row of the balls overlap the other row of the balls as viewed in the length direction of the ball housing band.
