The compositions are easily diluted with water and/or organic solvent, without formation a gel phase during the dilution process. 摘要： Disclosed are systems, methods, devices and kits for dispensing laundry additive materials into the drum of an automatic washing machine as that machine is used to carry out a fabric laundering operation. To bring about such dispensing of additives, a lidded housing structure (41) is placed within the drum of an automatic washing machine, an insert (40), containing one or more laundry additives in each compartment, is placed within the lidded housing structure (41), the lid (44) is closed and the machine is run through the several stages of its laundering cycle. Selectively actuatable puncturing element are provided to optionally open at least one compartment of the insert (40) upon closing of the housing structure lid (44), thereby dispensing the contents of that opened compartment into the washing machine drum as wash additive materials and/or to open one or more compartments of the insert (40) later in the laundering cycle to dispense contents of those compartments into the washing machine drum as rinse additive materials. The selectively actuatable puncturing element being activated by centrifugal force arising during the spin cycle of the laundering operation. In a multiple rinse cycle laundering operation, selectively actuatable puncturing element has a track and cam that allows for the dispensing of additives into the desired rinse cycle.

摘要： A consumer product composition comprises a non-porous dissolvable solid structure comprising a carrier material and a hydrophobic conditioning agent disposed within the carrier material, wherein the hydrophobic conditioning agent has a viscosity at 25°C of at least about 0.01 Pa-s. Preferred products are shampoos, hair conditioners, laundry detergents and fabric softeners. Preferably the carrier material comprises a polyethylene glycol and the conditioning agent comprises a silicone or polyisobutene. The conditioning agent is preferably disposed in the carrier as particles having a mean particle size of 2 to 2000 microns. A method of treating a surface comprises dissolving the consumer product composition in an aqueous solution to form an aqueous treatment liquor and contacting the surface with the liquor.
