摘要： Exemplary embodiments of the present invention provide a rotatable compact air purifier comprising an airflow module. The airflow module comprises centrifugal fan. The centrifugal fan comprises a plurality of blades that are configured to extend substantially radially from a hub coupled to a motor. Exemplary fan blades do no require a squirrel cage or hoop-like structure to provide support and/or to connect the fan blades. The airflow module may further comprise an inlet and an outlet that may respectively comprise an inlet flow director and an outlet flow director.

The air flow module comprises a fan that has an inlet with an inlet profile. The inlet profile is defined by a plurality of fan blades. The filter assembly comprises a filter that has a profile that is shaped to substantially conform with the inlet profile. Other embodiments of the invention comprise a flow director that is configured to equalize flow through the filter. Exemplary embodiments of the invention are configured to provide an efficient filter that is consumed at a substantially equivalent rate over the surface of the filter.

摘要： The present invention provides a system for detecting a malodor and dispensing an air treatment when needed. In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the system includes a selection mechanism which allows the user to choose how the system dispenses the air treatment, a sensor, a timing control circuit coupled with the sensor, and a delivery system coupled with the timing control circuit. Upon detection of a malodor by the sensor, the sensor communicates with the timing control circuit which, in turn, communicates with the delivery system to dispense the air treatment. In another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, an air-freshening system is shown that combines a continuous dispensing system with a sensing dispensing system.

An exemplary compact air purifier comprises a rotatable compact air purifier comprising one or more of an air cleaning module, an airflow module, an air intake panel, an air output panel, and a vapor-dispensing module configured to add one or more fragrances or anosmic agents to the air from the airflow module and/or the air cleaning module. In exemplary embodiments, an air cleaning module is attached to or comprises the same module as an air intake panel. Thus, the user of the air purifier would replace the air cleaning module by simply replacing the entire removable air intake panel that the air cleaning module is attached to, or the common module.

The resulting discrete hydrogel spheres have transparent optical beauty and liberate fragrance into an environment leaving behind only a small amount of emulsifier once evaporated. The air freshener produced by the disclosed method provides decoration in a home when the spheres are placed in a decorative jar.
