摘要： A method and apparatus for sharing an application profile for plural public IMS identities across different IMS subscriptions. A.home application profile (600a) for a first public IMS identity (IMPUx) of a first IMS subscription, is stored in its entirety at a first HSS storage (600). A profile reference is stored as an abbreviated foreign application profile (602a) for a second public IMS identity (IMPUy) of a second IMS subscription at a second HSS storage (602). The profile reference points to the home application profile in the first HSS storage. An authorising identifier for the second public IMS identity that authorises access to the home application profile, is also stored at the first HSS storage.

Current usage data is updated (120, 125) according to service requests comprising a second identifier belonging to said collection and allowed to proceed. The usage limit data can state maximum number of simultaneous communications, or maximum number of second identifiers belonging to said collection, and can be dynamically updated (130) according to traffic load conditions in an apparatus of the telecommunications system. The invention prevents overloading resources in telecommunications systems when the number of eventual users can not be foreseen.

摘要： The present invention faces the issues of registering more than one IMPI and more than one contact address within a single registration procedure in an IMS network. Thus, the present invention provides for a method and a HSS to allow the implicit registration of more than one IMPI, or the implicit registration of more than one contact address, or both, upon explicit registration of a subscriber with a given IMPI/IMPU pair and a given contact address. In particular, the invention provides for a method including the steps of configuring subscriber data for the subscriber at the HSS with at least one implicit registration set selected from: a set of IMPI's associated with a given IMPI or with a given IMPU, and a set of contact addresses per IMPI basis; downloading from the HSS towards the S-CSCF the implicit registration set; and building up a corresponding data model therein.

摘要： The present invention faces the issue of determining a single IMPI allowing the progress of a terminating call that addresses a given IMPU shared by more than one IMPI of an IMS subscription. To this end, the present invention proposes the provision of a number of policies to be applied per IMPI basis on how to progress the terminating call. More precisely, the invention provides for a HSS where the policies are configured and a method comprising a step of configuring at a HSS these more than one IMPI sharing the given IMPU with a number of policies. Additionally, the method may also include a step of configuring at the HSS said more than one IMPI with a priority indication usable to set the order in which said more than one IMPI are checked to determine at least one for which the policies allow to progress the terminating call.

The server includes a database that stores a service profile for the user-user equipment, where the service profile has a number of filter criteria wherein at least one includes: (1) a first trigger point and at least one first service point trigger that specifies one or more conditions which when satisfied will be downloaded to and checked by a remote control function before a service is invoked for the user-user equipment; and (2) a second trigger point and at least one second service point trigger that specifies one or more conditions which are checked against internally stored data associated with the user-user equipment and need to be satisfied before the service profile with the filter criteria including the first trigger point and the at least one first service point trigger is downloaded to and checked by the remote control function to invoke the service for the user-user equipment.
