    • It is presented a method performed by a network node of a wireless communication network for scheduling a wireless device in uplink. An uplink signal structure is configured to be used by the wireless device and the network node, wherein the uplink signal structure defines transmission subframes divided into symbol periods. The network node applies a short Transmission Time Interval, sTTI, scheduling interval, wherein each sTTI is shorter in time than a subframe and each sTTI comprises at least one symbol period. The method comprises: transmitting a control information message to the wireless device for an sTTI scheduling interval, the control information message comprising uplink scheduling information assigned to the wireless device, the uplink scheduling information indicating a position and a length for at least one of a reference signal and data in the uplink sTTI.

    • Disclosed is a method performed by a communication network (10) for increasing data throughput between a User Equipment, UE (60) and a network node (30) of the communication network, wherein the UE (60) is wirelessly connected to a first radio access node (24), and the UE also has wireless access to a second, neighboring radio access node (26, 28). The first radio access node (24) is connected to the network node (30) via a first backhaul link (44) having a first link capacity and the second radio access node (26, 28) is connected to the network node (30) via a second backhaul link (46, 48) having a second link capacity. The method comprises obtaining information of data throughput of the first backhaul link (44), obtaining information of data throughput of the second backhaul link (46), and triggering transmission of data between the UE and the network node via the second radio access node as well as via the first radio access node, based on the data throughput of the first backhaul link, the data throughput of the second backhaul link, the first link capacity and the second link capacity.
