摘要： The present disclosure relates to methods and arrangements for short-range wireless device communication and in particular to methods and arrangements for improving performance of data transfer operations realized by wireless devices using connection-less advertising. A method is disclosed, for enabling unsolicited data reception in a device capable of operating in accordance with Bluetooth Low Energy, BLE, wherein the device is logically separated into a controller configured to implement at least a physical layer functionality and a link layer functionality for the device and a host configured to control and configure operation of the controller. The method comprises to initiate (S42) a primary channel indicator timer and perform a scanning operation (S43) for advertising message indicator on one or more predetermined primary BLE advertising channel(s). Operation of the primary channel indicator timer is controlled based on detection of an advertising message indicator. The controller sends an Advertising Indication report to the host in response to detecting the advertising message indicator and the timer control operation comprises to discontinue (S44) the scanning operation in response to a time-out of the primary channel indicator timer or to activate (S46) secondary BLE advertising channel reception when the primary channel indicator timer is interrupted in response to detecting (S45) an advertising message indicator.

摘要： Embodiments herein relate to a method performed by a transmitting device (12) for transmitting information bits to a receiving device (10) in a wireless communication network (1). The transmitting device (12) encodes information bits of a first type of information and a second type of information into a codeword. The transmitting device (12) interleaves the encoded information bits of the first type of information according to a first interleaving pattern and the encoded information bits of the second type of information according to a second interleaving pattern, thereby changing an order of the encoded information bits of at least one of the first type of information and the second type of information in the codeword and generating an interleaved encoded information bit sequence. At least one of the first and the second interleaving pattern is designed to allow the information bits of a first type of information to be decoded without knowing a length of the codeword. The transmitting device then transmits the interleaved encoded information bit sequence to the receiving device (10).

The first network node and the second network node are configured to use periodic advertising for transmissions in the mesh network. The first network node calculates (402a) a first duration related to a transmission of data of a first size to be transmitted to the second network node. The first network node further calculates (402b) a second duration related to a period of time until a reception or a transmission of data is scheduled for second network node will occur. Based on the first and second duration the first network node decides (403) whether or not to decrease the first size of the transmission to a second size, so that first duration becomes shorter than the second duration.
