摘要： According to a first aspect of the present invention there is provided a method of implementing policy management in an IP Multimedia Subsystem, IMS, for users that are part of an organisation or enterprise. The method comprises the steps of separating the users into a plurality of groups, each group being defined by a Group Document that is managed by an XML Document Management Server; for one or more of the groups, including one or more policies in the Group Document of the group; for each of the groups, including in the Group Document identities of groups to which the group is related; and when determining one or more policies that are to be applied to a user, taking account of any policies included in the Group Document of the user's group and any policies included in the Group Document of any related groups.

摘要： The invention provides a method of authorising provision of in-directed content to a user of an IPcommunications network. The in-directed content is associated with a presentity subscriber of a presence service, the presence service including authorisation rules regarding users to which the in-directed content may be provided. The in-directed content is stored at a content server that is not controlled by the presence service. The method includes receiving at an authorisation proxy in the network a request from the user to be provided with the in-directed content, and identifying the presentity subscriber associated with the requested in-directed content. The authorisation proxy retrieves the authorisation rules to verify that the user is authorised to receive the in-directed content. Subject to the verification, the in-directed content is provided from the content server the user.

摘要： A method of correlating signalling in an IP Multimedia Subsystem Network is described. The method comprises receiving a SIP message (e.g. a SUBSCRIBE message) relating from a UE at an AS in an originating network. A correlation identifier is added to the SIP message, and it is then forwarded towards a terminating network. An AS in the terminating network receives the SIP message and generates and sends a response (e.g. SIP NOTIFY), the response including the correlation identifier together with an HTTP/XCAP link to a content server in the terminating network. The user device receives the SIP response, and generates and sends a HTTP/XCAP message (e.g. XCAP GET) towards the content server, the HTTP/XCAP message including a request for content and the correlation identifier. The content server receives the request for content and sends a further HTTP/XCAP message towards the user device, which includes content and the correlation identifier.
