    • A method and arrangement for creation of a customized recommendation of items in a user device (200) in communication with a recommendation system (202). The recommendation system obtains (2:2a) ratings of items for a public recommendation based on public user data (202a) and obtains (2:2b) attribute- related weight information for said items with item-specific weight values for a plurality of attributes pertaining to user characteristics. The ratings of items in the public recommendation and the weight information are sent (2:3) to the user device which then modifies (2:4, 2:4a) the public recommendation into a customized recommendation by selecting attributes valid for a current user based on said private user data, and applying the weight values of the selected attributes only to the received ratings of items. The non-valid attributes are thus disregarded. Thereby, new item ratings are obtained which have been adapted to the characteristics of this particular user.

    • The present invention relates to methods and devices for pre-buffering one or more content data items to be rendered at a mobile terminal. In a first aspect of the present invention, a mobile terminal (11, 12, 13) comprises a processing unit (15) arranged to acquire a probability with which at least one selected content data item of the one or more content data items is to be rendered at the mobile terminal, and to acquire an estimated point in time when the at least one selected content data item is to be rendered at the mobile terminal. Further, the processing unit is arranged to pre-buffer a first selected part of the at least one selected content data item in the mobile terminal such that the first selected part of the at least one selected content data item is ready for rendering at the estimated point in time, the extent of the pre-buffered first selected part being related to the probability with which the at least one selected content data item is to be rendered at the mobile terminal.

    • The present invention relates to a method and device of evaluating a traffic shaper used for shaping at least two traffic flows of a mobile terminal operating according to a particular DRX setting in a mobile communications network. The method comprises the steps of acquiring an estimated lower bound of battery savings as a function of transmission rate of each traffic flow (f1, f2) of the at least two traffic flows for the mobile terminal according to the particular DRX setting. Moreover, the method comprises calculating normalized traffic shaper gain as a relation between the estimated battery savings measure for the shaped traffic flow and the estimated battery savings measure for the unshaped traffic flow for said each traffic flow (f1, f2), said relation further being normalized with the respective estimated lower bound of battery savings, and determining whether to use the traffic shaper (S1) for said at least two traffic flows (f1, f2) on the basis of the calculated normalized traffic shaper gain.
