摘要： Methods and arrangements for handling shortcomings when a wireless user terminal (200), currently using a first connection (2:1) with a first network node (202), is redirected to a second connection in a release-with-redirect process. The first network node sends a first redirect message (2:2) to the terminal with an instruction to attach to the second connection. The terminal then sends a message (2:5) to the first network node which comprises a failure indication indicating that the terminal has made a failed attempt (2:3) to attach to the second connection. The first network node then identifies (2:6) a cause for the failed attempt by using the failure indication. The first network node also performs at least one of: sending (2:7) a second redirect message to the terminal based on the identified cause, and providing (2:9) the identified cause to a network management function, to enable adaptation of the release-with-redirect process.

摘要： A wireless terminal (30) receives a handover command message (64) from a Long Term Evolution (LTE) radio access network (22). The handover command message (64) includes an indicated cell and an alternative transfer authorization. The wireless terminal (30), in response to the handover command message (64), at least attempts to perform a handover of a radio connection involving the wireless terminal from the LTE radio access network (22) to an indicated cell in another radio access network (24). If the handover does not succeed within a predetermined time and in response to the alternative transfer authorization, the wireless terminal (30) releases the connection and re-establishes the connection in a selected cell of the other radio access network instead of returning the wireless terminal to the LTE radio access network, thereby improving success of transfer of the wireless terminal.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method in a legacy access node for selecting a suitable RAN, of a plurality of RANs for a LTE UE, capable of both PS and CS sessions in a global communication network, The method comprises the steps of connecting the UE to a legacy RAN via a radio interface module and then establishing a PS session with the connected UE. The bandwidth that the UE currently is consuming is monitored and compared with a predefined bandwidth threshold. If the consumed bandwidth exceeds the predefined bandwidth threshold an attempt will he made to trigger transferring of the UE from the current legacy RAN to the LTE RAN. The present invention also relates to a corresponding method in a eNodeB where the attempt to trigger transferring of the UE from the LTE RAN to the legacy RAN is made if the consumed bandwidth falls below the predefined threshold. The invention further relates to a legacy access node and an eNodeB adapted and configured to perform the methods.
