    • PURPOSE:To provide a small-sized automatic doffing apparatus for a yarn winder having simple construction and high reliability by performing the yarn treatment and bobbin attaching and detaching operations with a single actuator taking advantage of the rotation of a motor for driving a cradle arm. CONSTITUTION:The automatic doffing apparatus is provided with a cradle shaft 10, cradle arms 30A, 30B holding a bobbin 1 and gyrating between a winding position and a delivery position, a yarn treating cam shaft 41 having yarn-treating cams 61, 62 fixed thereto, a driving means 50 to drive the cam shaft 41, a 1st relative rotation allowing means 40 placed between the cam shaft 41 and the shaft 10 and interlocking both shafts 41, 10 when the relative rotation angle between both shafts becomes larger than a preset level and a yarn treating means 100 driven by the cams 61, 62 to preform a prescribed yarn treatment including threading on a bobbin 1. The yarn-treating means 100 is actuated when the cam shaft 41 is rotated with the driving means 50 and the cradle shaft 10 is stopped by the 1st relative rotation allowing means 40.

    • PURPOSE:To enable automatic grasping of bobbins having different sizes by grasping bobbins having different sizes corresponding to respective cylindrical sections of a coaxial different diameter pipe while engaging them with rotary clicks projectable/retractable through holes of respective cylindrical sections. CONSTITUTION:Upon provision of a command from a control section in a winding carrying device, a coaxial different diameter pipe 4 of a transfer head 2 moves above a bobbin B1 or bobbins B2-B4, and under a condition where a moving shaft 8 is lowered through a reciprocating means 9 to bring rotary clicks 11-14 near to the shaft 8 while resisting against torsion springs 16-19, cylindrical section 5, 6 or 7 of the coaxial different diameter pipe 4 is inserted into inner cylindrical portions (b1)-(b4) of objective bobbins B1, B2-B4 corresponding to the size thereof. Upon upward movement of the moving shaft 8, respective rotary clicks 11-14 are projected outward through respective holes 5a-7b by means the torsional springs 16-19, and when the transfer head 2 is moved upward under this state, the bobbin B1, B2-B4 are stopped and grasped. Consequently, bobbins having different sizes can be grasped automatically and protected from damage.
