    • PURPOSE:To obtain a chip type impedance element having high impedance value by a method wherein a plurality of through holes are formed in a magnetic ferrite calcinated member in two rows respectively in longitudinal direction and horizontal direction, and a conducting path is formed through the above- mentioned through holes. CONSTITUTION:A first basic material 20, consisting of Mn-Ni-Zn ferrite and the like, is formed in rectangular parallelepiped shape. Eight through holes 11 to 18 are formed on the above-mentioned ferrite base material 20. In the longitudinal direction (Y-direction), an interval Y0 is provided and two lines having four through holes each are lined in horizontal direction separated from the side face in the amount of Y1 and Y2, are formed. In the horizontal direction (X-direction), four lines having two each of through holes, which are arranged in longitudinal direction at intervals X01, X02 and X03 and the outermost one is separated from the side face by the amount of X1 and X2, are formed. In this construction, the current direction of each of the two rows of through holes in longitudinal direction is reversed, and the current direction within each row of through holes becomes equal. The above-mentioned method of connection is effective to increase impedance.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the lateral elongation of a conductive circuit, and to contrive improvement in dimensional accuracy by a method wherein an electroplated conductive part is provided on a ferrite substrate and a film of insulating material is provided at least on a part of the circumference of the above-mentioned conductive part, preferably on the whole circumference of the conductive part. CONSTITUTION:Before formation of a conductive circuit 4 on a ferrite substrate 1, a film of insulating material 6 is provided on the part where lateral elongation of plating layer from the conductive layer 4 should be prevented. To be more precise, a pattern 6 of synthetic resin is printed on the circumference of the part where the conductive circuit 4 is formed. Especially, the above-mentioned pattern is formed without fail on the a-a' part having the problem of shortcircuit. Accordingly, as the surface of the ferrite 1 in the vicinity of the conductive circuit 4 is coated with the insulating material 6, the flowing of current on the verrite part 1 while an electroplating work is conducted can be prevented. As a result, the lateral elongation is not generated on the part of the conductive circuit having the insulating material film, and as a result, a conductive circuit having precise finish dimensions can be obtained.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a magnetic head more stably when the magnetic head is retracted from on a magnetic disk.SOLUTION: When a permanent magnet member 10 for VCM having a projection projecting from a long periphery oppositely from a periphery center is mounted on a yoke 15, an end-P side where the sum (P1+P2) of thicknesses is maximum, i.e. an upper surface side of a magnet element assembly 111 on a projection side is higher than an upper surface side of the magnet element assembly in other regions. Therefore, the magnet element assembly 111 of the projection approaches a lock pin, the lock pin 21 and permanent magnet member 10 for VCM increase in mutual magnetic attracting force and make locking harder when the magnetic head is retracted from on the magnetic disk (during the locking), thereby increasing stability.
