    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove surely sludge in wastewater by a method wherein a fixed microbe is introduced into an aeration tank to execute oxidation decomposition treatment of wastewater, sludge and treating water which are discharged from the aeration tank are introduced into a precipitation tank to precipitate the sludge, the treating water is introduced to a inter-gravel contact tank, and excess sludge in the treating water is eliminated. SOLUTION: Fixed part perishables 2 are introduced into an aeration tank 1 having a downcomer part 1a and a riser pipe part 1b in parallel, and wastewater 3 to be purified is made to flow into the downcomer part 1a of the aeration tank 1. Aeration treatment is executed, and oxidation decomposition treatment of the wastewater 3 is executed with a stuck microbe 2 while fixed part perishables 2 is made to flow together with the wastewater 3. A separated sludge 4 together with treating water 5 is exhausted from the riser pipe part 1b. The sludge 4 and the treating water 5 which are exhausted from the aeration tank 1 are introduced into a precipitation tank 6, the sludge 4 is settled onto a tank bottom part, and supernatant treating water 5' is exhausted. The treating water 5' exhausted from the precipitation tank 6' is conduced into an inter-gravel contact tank 7, passed through between the gravels 9 to eliminate excess sludge 8 in the treating water 5', and purified water is discharged.

    • PURPOSE:To regulate running water discharged to the outside of a golf links to the effluent standard value or below for agricultural chemicals by removing the agricultural chemicals which are contained in drainage of the golf links and run off therefrom by adsorption with activated carbon or the like. CONSTITUTION:A manhole is provided in golf links and agricultural chemicals are absorbed and removed from drainage collected in this manhole. In this method, a catchment storage tank of the inside of the manhole 1 is partitioned into a running water passage continued in the vertical direction. An adsorbent layer 7 such as activated carbon is provided to the upward passage. Drainage collected from the golf links is supplied to the downward passage 4 and passage through the adsorbent layer 7 as the upward flow. In the meantime, agricultural chemicals incorporated in this drainage are adsorbed and removed. The drainage is run off from an effluent pipe 9. Further drainage (seepage water) is collected through a catchment pipe 5 from the inside of the golf links. While the same is passed through the adsorbent layer 7 as the upward flow directed to the upper layer from the lower layer, the agricultural chemicals incorporated in the drainage (seepage water) collected via a drainage pipe 5 are adsorbed and removed. Impurities such as sand and refuse incorporated in drainage collected in the manhole 1 are previously removed and do not reach the adsorbent layer 7. Clogging is made difficult to be caused. Since drainage is passed through the adsorbent layer 7 as the upward flow, water is uniformly passed through the absorbent layer 7 and moreover a water channel is make difficult to be formed.
