摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adjuvant that can maintain the ion concentration of intracellular calcium, can sense odor for a long time because it has the effect to prevent to be accustomed to the smell and is useful as a flavoring agent and a bathing agent by using a specific aminobenzoic ester derivative as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: This adjuvant comprises one or two or more selected from the group consisting of methyl o-aminobenzoate, methyl o-N- methylaminobenzoate, ethyl o-aminobenzoate, benzyl o-aminobenzoate, phenylethyl o-aminobenzoate, phenylpropyl o-aminobenzoate or the like represented by the formula (R1 is a 1-8C lower alkyl, a 7-9C aralkyl; R2 is H, a 1-8C lower alkyl). The cells that sense the scent are selected from mammals, birds, reptiles, fishes, and amphibians and the composition is prepared by using the compound represented by the formula in a concentration of 0.05-5 mass %.

摘要： PURPOSE:To develop perfume compositions of various types and fancy, with which a sufficient sedative effect is imparted by using 1,3-dimethoxy-5- methylbenzene as the perfume modifier. CONSTITUTION:A perfume composition containing 0.01-30wt.% 1,3-dimethoxy-5- methylbenzene as a perfume modifier which can impart a sedative effect is provided. This composition may be optionally combined with auxiliary components to give a perfume fluid, a cologne, a skin care, a body rinse, an aromatic agent, a deodorant, a bath or the like. The amount of 1,3-dimethoxy-5- methylbenzene added to the perfume composition may be suitably determined according to the object of use, etc. When the amount of the perfume modifier used is 0.01wt.% or above, the perfume composition can show a sedative effect. Even when the modifier is contained in an amount of above 30wt.%, it cannot show a marked sedative effect. Therefore it is not desirable to add this modifier in an amount larger than that in consideration of the balance among the perfumes.

SOLUTION: This sedative is obtained by including a trialkoxybenzene represented by the formula (R1 to R3 are each an alkoxy and preferably CH3 or C2H5) as an active ingredient. Trimethoxybenzene (e.g. 1,3,5- trimethoxybenzene) is preferred as the trialkoxybenzene. The trialkoxybenzene has a phenolic sweetness and a spicy woody aroma. The sedative is included as an active ingredient to afford a sedative perfume composition such as a perfume, a shampoo, rinses, an aromatic agent or a bathing agent. The content of the trialkoxybenzene in the composition is preferably 0.5-50 wt.%, more preferably 1-20 wt.%.

As a result, when air blown out from the fan 7 passes by a place where a flavor container 4 is set, odor of flavor vaporizing from the flavor container 4 is taken into the blown air. Thus odor mixed air is blown outside from the locker body 1. By this, other odors attached to clothes and remaining in a locker are masked, whereby a user smells the odor of the flavor from the flavor container 4 when he opens the door 3. When the door 3 is closed, the fan 7 stops operation.
