摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the above device in which the circuits and the structures of a flywheel device and vacuum maintaining devices, which can maintain a vacuum, are simplified, and to provide its operating method. CONSTITUTION:A flywheel device main body 29 which has a built-in flywheel provided rotatable in a vacuum; an evaporation type getter 33 connected to the flywheel main body 29 through a switching means 35 and vacuum-evaporated by feeding a current and heating; and a non-evaporation type getter 36 connected to the evaporation type getter 33 through a switching means 38 and sucking the hydrogen in the evaporation type getter 33 by feeding a current and heating; are provided. And the system is composed to feed a current to the evaporation type getter or the non-evaporation type getter, by closing the first and the second constantly opening contacts which are closed by detecting the steam, the hydrogen, or the like in a flywheel housing container. Furthermore, a connecting rod insulator is adhered to a connecting rod, and they are incorporated by a soldering or a blazing, so as to increase the airtightness.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency and the assembling performance by employing an induction motor in a generator motor section thereby enabling high speed rotation of a flywheel. CONSTITUTION:When power is fed from the outside to a coil 59 of a stator core 58, magnetic induction is produced between the stator core 58 and a rotor core 62 and thereby a rotary body 65 rotates around a pivot shaft 56 at a high speed. A flywheel 64 rotating at a high speed stores electrical energy in the form of kinetic energy, which is converted into electrical energy as required and fed as power to a load. During idling operation, iron loss in the stator core 58 can be suppressed by lowering the input terminal voltage.

摘要： PURPOSE:To easily maintain vacuum with a simple device by providing a vaporization chamber separately from a flywheel chamber in the inside of a vacuum vessel in which the flywheel is incorporated, and therein by providing a titanium activating means. CONSTITUTION:As an evacuation treatment, a rotary vacuum pump is connected to a solenoid valve 24 from the outside to heighten the vacuum in the inside, and thereafter, the valve 24 is closed, and then the rotary vacuum pump is removed. When the vacuum decreases due to the out-gas being gradually produced in the inside of the vessel during operation, a power supply is connected to a titanium alloy filament 30 to intermittently pass a current. The filament 30 is heated by the current to raise its temperature to a high temperature, and activated titanium particles are emitted from the surface, and while adsorbing the remained gas or out-gas inside the vessel, they adheres on the wall surface of the vessel or the like. By repeating the above process, vacuum is maintained. And it is so contrived that the chamber 32 for activating the filament 30 is divided from the chamber of a flywheel 35 by a partition, and that the powder produced by the vaporization of the filament 30 is prevented from being attached on a rotating part.

A detecting plate 34 for detecting a rotary speed is mounted on the end part of the shaft 31. A reflecting fiber type photosensor 40 detects the speed of a rotary unit fixed to an upper part cover 39 by radiating light from the outside of a vacuum vessel. Thus a structure can be simplified inexpensively, and reliability can be improved with no influence by noise.

摘要： PURPOSE:To maintain the degree of vacuum through a simple system and to reduce the size by arranging means for activating titanium through direct electrical heating in a space at the inside of the stator of a dynamo-electric machine located at the inside of a flywheel. CONSTITUTION:When a flywheel body 26 is rotated with high speed, containers 28, 29 are evacuated by means of a rotary pump and a current is fed externally to a titanium filament 21 through a terminal block 23 in order to activate the titanium through heating. Activated titanium is combined with out gas such as hydrogen, nitrogen or oxygen and maintains the degree of vacuum. The titanium filament 21 is arranged in the inner space at the central section, where a stator 24 is supported by the vacuum container, and the terminal block 23 employing a vacuum leakage preventing mechanism is fixed to the open section at the opposite side from the flywheel 26. By such arrangement, the degree of vacuum can be maintained through a simple system.
