摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain high composite performance by improving adhesion between resin and a fiber, by a method wherein a reinforcing fiber strand or sheet introduced into a bed of powdery thermoplastic resin is impregnated with the resin while bundling and opening are being applied to the reinforcing fiber strand or sheet so that a ratio between the maximum width and minimum width of the same becomes a specific value or more. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcing fiber strand or sheet is passed through a bed of powdery thermoplastic resin. The bed is made into a fluidized bed wherein appropriate gas is supplied continuously and when the resin is powder, the resin can be stuck to fibers by filling out sufficiently the same up to the inside of a space among the fibers by repeating bundling and opening of the fibers during passing of the fibers through the bed of the resin. A ratio between the maximum width and minimum width of a fiber bundle is made 3 or more further. When the thermoplastic resin is stuck uniformly up to the inside of the space among the reinforcing fibers in this manner, a composite to be obtained is also superior in mechanical characteristics.

摘要： PURPOSE:Roving prepreg having improved loosening properties, wherein a silicone resin, etc., exist only on the surface, obtained by applying the silicone resin, etc., by solventless method on the surface of roving prepreg obtained by impregnating a fiber bundle with a thermosetting resin. CONSTITUTION:A fiber bundle is immersed in a reaction solution obtained by dissolving a thermosetting resin (preferably an epoxy resin), a curing agent, a curing promoter, a viscosity modifier, etc., in a solvent, impregnated and dried to give thermosetting resin impregnated roving prepreg and the surface of the prepreg is provided with 0.1-1.5wt%, preferably 0.2-1wt% based on the roving prepreg of one or more o a silicone resin, a silicone oil (preferably one having methoxy group or OH group on the end) and vaseline by solventless method, preferably roller transfer method to produce reving prepreg having low adhesivity wherein the silicone resin, etc., exist only on the surface.
