摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining method for shield tunnel capable of eliminating the need of separately performing soil retaining works and end cutting works when joining, eliminating the need of constructing a deep starting shaft requiring many auxiliary construction methods, and thus reducing a construction period and a construction cost. SOLUTION: This joining method for a shield tunnel 20 for joining a preceding shield tunnel 30 to a later shield tunnel 40 at a joined part 35 comprises a first step and a second step. In the first step, the preceding shield tunnel 30 is constructed so that the ground 1 is excavated by a preceding shield machine 31, all or a part of a peripheral wall is formed of plain segments 36 during the excavation so as to provide the connected part 35 reinforced for preventing the tunnel from being collapsed. In the second process, the latter shield tunnel 40 is constructed so that the ground 1 is excavated by a latter shield machine 41, and so as to be connected to the preceding shield tunnel 30 at the connected part 35 through the plain segments 36.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the breakage of a bag body when a back-fill material is filled into a tail void (clearance) formed between a cylindrical wall body and an excavated hole at the time of excavation of a tunnel by a shield machine. SOLUTION: A tail seal of a shield machine moves along an outer face of a cover plate 6 covering a bag body 2. Consequently, the bag body 2 does not come into contact with the tail seal directly and its breakage and twist are prevented so that it inflates normally at all times. When grout is filled into the bag body 2 from a socket 1e to inflate the bag body 2, the cover plate 6 comes off the bag body 2 to inflate and deform the bag body 2 freely when an inflation and deformation force of the bag body 2 is stronger than an adhesion force of an adhesion means 7.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost. SOLUTION: A flexible valve body 2d of a check valve 2, which is mounted on a socket 1 by making an engaging piece 2a wind around to the inside of an engaging protrusion 1i, is curved outside the socket 1 by grouting pressure so as to be separated from a valve seat 1h. The valve body 2d, which makes grouting freely; is pressed against the valve seat 1h by back-flow pressure of an injected grout material in order to prevent the grout material from flowing back inward. The check valve 2 made of a synthetic resin, which is much thinner than a conventional rigid check valve of an inverted truncated cone shape, does not move in a direction of a central axis of the socket 1 so as to reduce constraints on the shape, structure, quality of a material, etc., of the socket 1. Accordingly, the socket 1 can be made of a synthetic resin in order to enable cost reduction. A protruding piece 2e enhances operability of the check valve 2 and increases strength of a bridging part to which flow pressure of the grout material is applied.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embedded socket for a segment, which is rustproof, inexpensive and capable of being easily manufactured. SOLUTION: The embedded socket A is embedded in the segment 11 in a state in which a large-diameter base end is disposed on a side of an outer periphery and in which a small-diameter end is disposed on a side of an inner periphery. The segment 11 is lifted by screwing a lifting tool 13 into an internal thread 1c. In this case, ribs 1d and 1e are formed on a tapered peripheral surface so as to be capable of bringing about fixing strength high enough to permit lifting. In addition, the internal thread 1c is not formed in a central hole 1b of an end part. A load during the lifting is applied, in a deconcentrated manner, to a base end of a back part, into which an external thread 13a of the lifting tool 13 is screwed, and an end side with respect to an intermediate part. Prevention of concentrated application of the load to only a part can reliably bring about the prescribed strength. The embedded socket A is manufactured of a nylon resin to enable accurate and easy molding of not only the whole thereof but also the internal thread 1c having a complex shape and the like, and to have advantages such as inexpensiveness and rustproofness.
