    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce interferences in peripheral equipments, and to take the quantity of eccentricity and the sectional area ratio of holes at large values by installing an eccentric rotary means into the master machine of master-slave shield machines and bringing the slave machine to an eccentrically movable state. SOLUTION: The diameter of a slave machine 3 is made smaller than that of a master machine 2 and the slave machine 3 is made concentric to the master machine 2 and held detachably. A drum member 6 is supported to the lower frame of a master-machine shield frame from a lower section through a plurality of rollers, and can be rotated centering around a center C1 . When a hole having a large cross section is excavated, an outer circumferential cutter 20 and a slave machine cutter 16 are turned and driven centering around a center Co and excavation is conducted by a hydraulic motor for driving while performing propulsion by a master-machine shield jack. A hydraulic motor 46 for eccentric rotation is braked at that time, and the revolution of the drum member 6 is stopped. When a hole having a small cross section is excavated, the drum member 6 is revolved by the hydraulic motor 46, and the whole slave machine 3 is rotated eccentrically centering around the center C1 to an upper section, and moved to an eccentric place. Accordingly, the quantity of eccentricity of the slave machine 3, the quantities of eccentricity of the large and small holes, and a sectional area ratio are taken at large values.

SOLUTION: A master-machine cutter head 11 consists of a slave-machine cutter head 21 and an outer circumferential cutter 12 arranged on the outer circumference of the slave-machine cutter head 21, and the center of rotation A of the master-machine cutter head 11 and the center of rotation B of the slave-machine cutter head 21 are deviated by a distance (e). When the master-machine cutter head 11 is turned, the slave-machine cutter head 21 and the outer circumferential cutter 12 are connected by a connecting jack 42, the driving rotational driving shaft 30 of a master machine is conformed to the center of rotation A of the master-machine cutter head 11, and a cutter driving motor 32 is driven and the slave-machine cutter head 21 and the outer circumferential cutter 12 are revolved integrally. When the slave-machine cutter head 21 is rotated, on the other hand, the slave-machine cutter head 21 is released from connection by the connecting jack 42, and the rotational driving shaft 30 is moved to the center B of the slave-machine cutter head 21 and only the slave-machine cutter head 21 is tuned.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to connect a small diametral shield machine to a large diametral shield machine at an eccentric position from the axial center thereof by enabling the movement of a drive rotational shaft in the verticals direction in master and slave shield machines used for excavation of sewage, etc. SOLUTION: A drive rotational shaft 210 driven with a cutter driving motor 213 is so constituted that it can be moved in the vertical direction with a cutter driving section moving jack 214. A following rotational shaft 220 having a cutter head 230 for a small diametral shield machine on the front end thereof is constituted that it can be moved to the drive rotational shaft 210 in the verticals direction with a slide section moving jack 223. Accordingly, when the axial center of the drive rotational shaft 210 is fitted to the axial center A1 for a master shield machine to make the axial center A3 of the following rotational shaft 220 as eccentricity, the revolution of the following rotational shaft 220 is made to make it possible to make the large diametral excavation. When the axial centers of the drive rotational shaft 210 and following rotational shaft 220 are made to coincide with the axial center A2 of a slave shield machine having eccentricity from the axial center A1 of the master shield machine, a small diametral excavation can be executed.
