摘要： PURPOSE:To miniaturize a shield machine and to simplify internal equipment by kneading excavated earth with a hardening agent by a cutter section projecting from an external shell, and constructing improved zones on the peripheral surface of the external shell. CONSTITUTION:A cutter head 2 projecting from a cylindrical shell 11 and capable of revolving excavation is provided. After that, discharge nozzles 4 of a hardening agent are provided to a part projecting from a section of the shell 11 of the cutter head 2, and a stirring wing 3 is provided to the opposite side of a facing of the projection. Then, a pressure feed passage 41 for the hardening agent is provided, and it is connected with the discharge nozzles 4, a pressure supply pump 42, a hardening agent tank 43, etc. As the construction of improved zones c, segments (a) are assembled in every other planned group of tunnel (b). At that time, the hardening agent is discharged from the nozzles 4 in the cutter head 2 to excavate, and the hardening agent and excavated earth are kneaded with the stirring wing 3 at the rear. Successively, overlapping excavation is made between the improved zones c, and the segments (a) are assembled to construct a following tunnel. The inside of the continuous group of the tunnel (b) in a circular shape is excavated, and lining is made with concrete, etc.
