摘要： Systems and methods discussed herein are directed to selecting and attaching to different cells within wireless communication networks when multiple cells are available. An electronic device determines that a 5G new radio (NR) radio access topology and a non-standalone radio access topology are available within a wireless communication network. The electronic device obtains a bandwidth index for the NR radio access topology and a bandwidth index for the non-standalone radio access topology and compares the two bandwidth indices. Based at least in part on results of the comparison, the electronic device selects one of either (i) the NR radio access topology or (ii) the non-standalone radio access topology and attaches to the selected topology.

In at least one example, a related device of a group of related devices may receive a communication notification representative of a communication event. Such communication notifications may enable event awareness for each of the devices in the group of related devices. In an example, the related device may compare data items (e.g., participants, timestamps, etc.) associated with the communication notification with data items associated with entries stored in a local data store. The entries may correspond to communication events associated with at least the related device. Based at least in part on comparing the data items, the related device may determine whether a new entry associated with the communication notification should be added to a local data store or the communication notification should be disregarded as a duplication.

In an example, a sensor configured to operate in the frequency band can scan at least a portion of the frequency band to generate sensor data indicating at least energy present in the portion of the frequency band. A base station can receive the sensor data from the sensor, analyze the sensor data, and determine, based at least in part on analyzing the sensor data, that a device is occupying at least a portion of the frequency band. The base station can classify the device (e.g., as a priority user). The base station can receive a request to transmit a communication from a user device and can determine a first channel within the frequency band to transmit the communication based at least in part on the classification associated with the device.

摘要： Techniques for dynamically determining coverage area and data throughput in a heterogeneous network are discussed herein. In some examples, a base station can use frequency resources from a Citizens Broadband Radio Service band provided that such use does not cause harmful interference for incumbent users. For example, to avoid interfering with an incumbent device while maintaining transmission, an algorithm may be deployed to dynamically determine data throughput for the base station and connected user equipment based on interference level and traffic type. The base station can receive interference information with uplink feedback from the user equipment. Interference information can also be used to configure the base station to dynamically adjust its data coverage area, for example, by varying a transmission power. As the conditions at a base station change over time (e.g., hourly, daily, weekly, etc.), data coverage area can be reconfigured at the base station.

摘要： The disclosed technology provides a system for scanning frequency channels that reduces the number of frequency channels scanned from among all the possible frequency channels that a wireless communication device can operate on. The wireless communication device uses historical data on last successful connection together with device data metrics from the last successful connection to determine a probability of successful connection for each of the potential frequency channels. The wireless communication device then ranks the probability associated with each frequency channel to determine a frequency scanning order that results in fewer frequencies being scanned before an appropriate channel is identified.

In at least one example, a first device can broadcast expression data to one or more other devices. Based on determining a presence of a second device within a particular region, the first device can send a request for a profile associated with an eSIM of the second device to the second device. The second device can provision the profile to the first device via a direct connection with the first device. Based on receiving the profile from the second device, the first device can associate the profile with its eSIM and can access at least one service based at least in part on the profile.
