    • A slider includes a slider body and a pull tab pivotally connected thereto. The slider body comprising a pair of upper and lower wings connected at their respective front ends by a diamond having a through hole formed longitudinally thereof, the upper wing having a recess in its upper surface close to the through hole; a holder post including a holder body and a crook portion bent rearwardly from the holder body; and a decorative pattern provided on the upper surface of the upper wing rearwardly of the recess. The holder body fits through the through hole and the crook portion has its lower end fit into the recess, thus defining with the upper surface of the upper wing an opening through which to pivotally join the pull tab to the slider body. The holder body is clinched to the slider body through the through hole.

    • A pull tab pivotally connected to a slider body is formed integral with a locking pawl which projects into the guide channel in the slider body through an aperture formed in its top wing. When the pull tab is turned to a recumbent position on the slider body, the locking pawl presses the fastener elements in the guide channel against the bottom wing of the slider body thereby locking the slider against movement. The point of contact of the locking pawl with the fastener elements is located forwardly of the axis of the pivotal motion of the pull tab when the latter is in the recumbent position. Further, when the pull tab is in the recumbent position, the tip of the locking pawl rests against an abutment on the inside surface of the top wing of the slider body.

    • Double lockable sliders comprise a pair of first and second sliders reciprocatively mounted on the slide fastener and disposed reversely to each other. When the second pull tab is turned flat against the first pull tab, the engaging projection provided at the distal end and on one surface of the second pull tab comes into the recess formed in one surface of the first pull tab, and the prong provided at one end of the latch member resiliently comes into locking engagement with the indentation formed in one side of the engaging projection. The double lockable sliders further include cam means for imparting to the engaging projection upward motion when the latch member is pulled away from the second slider longitudinally of the slide fastener.

    • A slide fastener slider has a body including a pair of upper and lower wings and a support lug projecting from the upper wing, and a pull tab having a pintle pivotably received in a space defined between the support lug and the upper wing. The support lug has an end spaced from the upper wing by a gap communicating with the space. The pintle is normally retained in the space by a resilient pull tab retainer that is normally urged to close off the gap. When the pull tab retainer is manually displaced out of the gap, the pintle can be pulled through the gap to detach the pull tab from the support lug.
