    • An automatic lock slider for slide fasteners comprises a slider body including an upper and a lower wing defining therebetween a guide channel for the passage of slide fastener coupling elements, a locking member for locking the slider against movement, a pull tab operatively associated with the locking member for manipulating the slider, a casing and a spring member interposed between the casing and the locking member and normally urging the latter in a direction to lock the slider. The casing has retaining lugs interiorly disposed for folding over the spring member to retain the latter in position stably but loosely to permit its resilient movement relative to the locking member.

    • A slide fastener slider has an arch-shaped lug projecting from the top surface of an upper wing and terminating in a rear free end spaced from the top surface of the upper wing by a predetermined gap. A slide is slidably mounted in the upper wing and has a closure projection. The slide is movable between an open position in which the closure projection is spaced from the free end of the lug to open the gap for allowing the pintle of a pull tab to pass therethrough, and a closed position in which the closure projection is disposed adjacent to the free end of the lug to close the gap for preventing the pintle of the pull tab from passing therethrough. The slide is normally urged to its closed position by a spring mounted in the upper wing.

    • In an auto-lock slide fastener slider, an upper wing of a slider body has front and rear lugs on its upper surface, a through-hole under the front lug, a pair of locking-spring-supporting seats at opposite sides of the through-hole, a locking-pawl-insertion hole under the rear lug, and a cam-receiving recess between the lugs. A pull tab has a cam on an eccentric axle. A locking leaf spring has a streamlined central base, a front end portion at a front end of the base, a locking pawl at a rear end of the base, front and rear openings near the opposite ends of the base, and an oblique engaging strip projecting fra the front end of the base and engageable with the front lug. The spring is placed over the pull tab's cam, which is received in the cam-receiving recess of the upper wing, with the openings being threaded by the lugs and with the front end portion fixed to a guide post of the slider body.

    • A slider with lock for a slide fastener is provided of which the built-in lock comprises (a) a cylindrical housing integrally fixed onto the upper wing of the slider body and provided with a sloped cam face on the inner surface thereof, (b) a rotor coaxially installed within the housing, capable of being turned with a key and capable of moving in the axial direction when turned by being guided along the sloped cam face on the inner surface of the housing, (c) a locking member with a lock claw directed toward the element rows of the slide fastener and engaged with the rotor so as to be moved in the axial direction of the rotor by rotating by being guided along the sloped cam face, (d) a spring interposed between the rotor and the locking member so that the locking member is always urged toward the element rows, and (e) a cover. With this structure of the lock, the element rows are locked by being jammed with the lock claw which is pressed firmly by the compressive resilience of the spring.

    • This invention provides a slider for use in sport goods, and its surface is smooth without any protrusion thereby providing no danger to a user. On a top surface of an upper wing of a slider body for slide fastener, a thread attachment portion for attaching a thread body as a pull and a fixing portion for fixing molded resin body formed by insert-molding synthetic resin on the upper wing are formed integrally with the slider body. The thread attachment portion is formed by arranging tongue pieces each having a narrowed tip in the center of the upper wing such that they oppose each other. The thread body is placed between the tongue pieces and the tongue pieces are crimped so as to fix the thread body. Further, tongue pieces slightly smaller than the aforementioned tongue pieces having the same shape are formed back and forth of the thread attachment portion and the tips thereof are crimped inward so as to form the fixing portion. Then, synthetic resin is insert-molded to bury and cover the thread attachment portion to which the thread body is already attached and the fixing portion so that a molded resin body is formed on the upper wing and fixed thereon. As a result, there is provided a slider whose body has a smooth surface and only contains a flexible thread body.

    • The present invention provides a slider with a simple locking mechanism which allows the slider to be operated easily and exerts its locking function accurately. In the slider of this invention, a recess is made in the center of an upper wing plate of a slider body thereof and engaging posts are provided on the front and back of the slider body. Two pawl holes are provided in a bottom portion of the recess and supporting pieces are provided on the right and left sides so as to be erected. Guide grooves are provided in side walls of the recess. A pawl body comprises locking pawls provided on the right and left of a bottom face thereof in which a top face thereof is formed in a mountain shape and their phases are deviated by half pitch and guide protruding portions protruding from the side walls. A pull tab has a pintle on an end thereof and a cam is provided in the center of the pintle. A cover is a rectangular prism and has front and rear engaging holes which are capable of engaging the engaging posts. The guide protruding portions of the pawl body are inserted into the guide grooves of the recess and the pull tab is placed on the supporting pieces from above. Then, the cover is mounted. When the pull tab is raised or hung, the pawl body moves up and down, so that the locking pawls enter in between fastener elements by pressure.
