摘要： A display substrate having a fan-out and a method for manufacturing the display substrate are disclosed. The fan-out includes an insulating substrate, a first line, a second line, a resistance control pattern, and first and second detour pattern. The first line is disposed on the insulating substrate and is connected to a pad. The second line is formed from the same layer as the first line and is connected to a thin-film transistor (TFT). The resistance control pattern is formed from a different layer than the first and second lines. The first and second detour patterns are formed from a different layer than the first and second lines and the resistance control pattern, and connect the first and second lines with the resistance control pattern, respectively.

摘要： A display apparatus includes a switching element having a first gate electrode, a source and drain electrode, a channel area formed between the source and drain electrode, and a second gate electrode. The second gate electrode is electrically insulated from the first gate electrode through the channel area, and different control voltages are applied to the second gate electrode according to the control period of the first gate electrode. The different control voltages are applied to the second gate electrode according to the turn on/off states of the switching element for increasing the turn on current in the channel area and for minimizing the turn off (leakage) current in the channel area.

摘要： A display device includes a gate driving part, a data driving part, a display panel and a kickback voltage compensating part. The gate driving part outputs a gate signal, and the data driving part outputs a data signal. The display panel displays an image in response to the gate signal and the data signal. A pixel voltage of the display panel is reduced by a kickback voltage varied based on a gray scale and induced when the gate signal falls. The kickback voltage compensating part compensates an image control signal externally provided to the kickback voltage compensating part for the kickback voltage to output a data control signal to the data driving part.

摘要： A thin film transistor (TFT) array panel for a Liquid Crystal Display apparatus (LCD) is provided. The TFT array panel comprises a plurality of gate lines, at least one data line intersecting the plurality of gate lines and at least one thin film transistor connected to at least one of the gate lines and the at least one data line. The at least one film transistor comprises a drain electrode. In addition, the TFT array panel further comprises at least one pixel electrode including at least one first subpixel electrode connected to the drain electrode of the thin film transistor and a second subpixel electrode capacitively coupled to the at least one first subpixel electrode. Moreover, the pixel electrode has a partitioning member for partitioning the pixel electrode into at least two partitions having portions which do not overlap the drain electrode. The at least two partitions are disposed symmetrically to a reference line equidistant from the plurality of gate lines.

The color filter layer includes a storage hole extending to a portion of the TFT layer corresponding to the storage electrode. The storage hole has a horizontal cross-sectional area greater than the storage electrode, wherein the horizontal cross-sectional area is measured in a plane parallel to the substrate. The pixel electrode is formed on the color filter layer and in the storage hole to form a storage capacitor with the storage electrode.

摘要： A display substrate includes first and second storage electrodes, a pixel electrode and a direction control electrode. A slit is formed through the pixel electrode. The direction control electrode is positioned in a region aligned with the slit, and a level of a voltage applied to the direction control electrode is changed. The level of the voltage applied to the direction control electrode may be periodically changed. The voltage applied to the direction control electrode may be changed after substantially the same voltage is applied to the pixel electrode and the direction control electrode. A voltage difference between a reference voltage and the direction control voltage may be greater than a voltage difference between the reference voltage and the pixel voltage. The reference voltage may be a common voltage.
