    • An Internet Protocol telephony exchange system and a call control method thereof. The exchange system integrates an IP terminal and a legacy terminal in a single exchange system, controls a call of the IP terminal in the same manner as an extension subscriber, and contains at least one IP terminal connected to the IP network. The IP terminal contains a user interface for generating user information or converting received user interface information into information of a user-identifiable state, and performs a VoIP function in compliance with one or more of a H.323, a MGCP and an SIP protocol procedure. The IP network is connected to an IP driver and an IP-PBX (Internet Protocol-Private Branch Exchange). The IP driver controls an IP end point at which the IP terminals are positioned, upon receiving IP terminal connection information and call control information based on H.323/MGCP/SIP protocol procedure.

    • Disclosed is a method for informing a mobile communication terminal of an entrance into a specific service network in a mobile communication system and a method for changing an incoming call indication mode to a vibration or silent mode. The method for informing a user of a private mobile communication service possible area when a mobile communication terminal enters a private mobile communication network being interoperable with a public mobile communication network includes the steps of: a) upon receiving a system parameter message being broadcast by the private mobile communication system, checking a predetermined bit for indicating the private mobile communication service area contained in the system parameter message, and determining whether the mobile communication terminal exists in the private mobile communication service area; b) if the mobile communication terminal exists in the private mobile communication service area, transmitting a location registration message having a predetermined registration type to the private mobile communication system; c) receiving a message indicating a private mobile communication service possible state from the private mobile communication system according to registration result information of the private mobile communication system; and d) informing the user of the private mobile communication service possible state.

    • An apparatus and method for maximizing the performance of a peaking amplifier in a Doherty amplifier are provided. The apparatus includes a splitter, a carrier amplifier, an (N−1) number of peaking amplifiers, a Doherty combiner, and an output load. The splitter splits an input signal into an ‘N’ number of power signals. The carrier amplifier amplifies the signal provided from the splitter using a first Direct Current (DC) bias. The peaking amplifiers amplify the signals provided from the splitter using a second DC bias, which is lower than the first DC bias. When the carrier amplifier and the peaking amplifiers are all operating, the Doherty combiner forms a load impedance of the respective amplifiers such that the load impedance of the peaking amplifiers are less than the load impedance of the carrier amplifier. The output load outputs the signals amplified by the carrier amplifier and the peaking amplifiers.
