An LNG hole is provided in the uppermost portion of the sparging pipe 11 for introducing LNG directly into a fin tube 1 via an introduction passage 21. A predetermined gap is provided between the heat insulating material 20 and the inner peripheral face of the lower header tank 10 or in addition thereto a predetermined gap is provided between the heat insulating material 20 and the outer peripheral face of the sparging pipe 11 so that a preset amount of LNG flows therein. The heating medium supplying means includes a distribution pipe 4 arranged at an upper position than that of the heat exchanging panels and extending in an arranging direction and an allocation plate 5 arranged between a pair of heat exchanging panels and extending in an arranging direction. The distribution pipe flows down the heating medium toward the allocation plate while distributing it toward the arranging direction, the allocation plate allocates the heating medium flowing down from the distribution pipe to an opposite direction to supply the heating medium to the surface of each of the upper ends of the heat exchanging panels.

The other LNG flows down in an inner ring-shaped passage formed with the tubular cap 20 and the inner tube 13 and rises in an outer ring-shaped passage formed with the inner surface of the stuffing tube 10 and the tubular cap 20 from the lower end of the tubular cap 20 and is discharged outside as a vapor gas by way of an upper head tank 12. In this case, the shape of a secondary heat transfer surface produced by a plurality of stuffing operations of the stuffing tubes 10 function on heat exchange effectively.

The configuration of the ice coating is repeatedly converged while it is corrected so that the temperature on the ice coating surface becomes ice coating temperature to analyze the configuration of the ice coating on the finned tube, and to examine the form of the model and the configuration of the ice coating on its surface.
