    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable operation method of a waste gasifying melting furnace and the gasifying melting furnace, which secures excellent residue discharge performance of slag, by accurately estimating a staying state of the slag in the furnace.
      SOLUTION: (1) This operation method improves discharge performance of the slag, by controlling an operation quantity such as a combustion support gas blowing-in quantity by an estimating result, based on a method and the estimating result of estimating the staying state of the slag in a melting zone based on a back pressure variation of combustion support gas before supply to lances, in operation of the gasifying melting furnace for gasifying and melting waste by blowing the combustion support gas and auxiliary fuel in the melting zone from a plurality of lances, by inserting the waste from an upper part of the vertical furnace of forming the melting zone, a pyrolyzing zone and a gas reforming zone. (2) The waste gasifying melting furnace has a lance back pressure monitoring device for performing the above operation method.

      SOLUTION: The slag conveyor is equipped with a chain 12 installed to circulate and move inside and outside a water tank 7 for carrying out granulated melting furnace slag which is a mixture of granulated slag 5 with a small diameter discharged from a smelting furnace 1 and massive slag 8 and deposited on the bottom plate 9 of the conveyor in the water tank 7 and a conveying means which is attached to the chain 12 and moves along with circulating and moving of the chain 12 to carry out the granulated melting furnace slag deposited in the water tank from the water tank 7. The conveying means is composed of buckets 13 and scraping plates 14. The gap D1 between the bottom plate 13a of the bucket and the bottom plate 9 of the conveyor is made to be larger than the maximum size of the massive slag d1 and the gap D2 between the scraping plate 14 and the bottom plate 9 of the conveyor is made to be as small as possible. Resultingly, biting of the massive slag between the bottom plate of the bucket and the bottom plate of the conveyor is prevented and the operating efficiency of the slag conveyor is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To enable emergency repair in a short time and at a low cost and with the structure for holding the internal pressure kept in an operating condition, by filling an amorphous sealing material into the corrosion hole and pressing the amorphous sealing material as attached to the structure with a keep plate. CONSTITUTION:An amorphous sealing material 3 is pushed into a corrosion hole 2 produced in the peripheral wall of an internal pressure holding structure 1 and the wall portion surrounding the corrosion hole 2 is also fully covered with the sealing material 3. Thereafter specific size of a keep plate 4 made of steel is placed over the amorphous material and the circumference of the keep plate 4 is welded to the lateral wall of the structure 1 and thereby the repair is finished. If a keep plate 4 having a small hole 5 provided therein is used and the keep plate 4 is welded to the lateral wall of the structure 1 so as to leave a space therebetween, and then the sealing material 3 is injected into the space through the small hole 5, and finally the hole is plugged with a plug 6, then the leakage of the internal fluid can be prevented much better.
