    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a coil for a motor by which the coil is easily manufactured, wherein the coil is coated by a heat-resistant insulating material which consists of heat-resistant resin and an inorganic material of which the content is higher than the resin, and the coil has a shape that has been difficult to obtain by conventional means, and to provide the coil for the motor manufactured by the method.
      SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the coil for the motor includes a process, wherein an inorganic powder of silica or alumina of 30 to 300 weight% of an amount of polyimide resin is dispersed in an organic solvent solution of the polyimide resin, of which the solid content is 14 weight% or smaller, then dispersed liquid thus obtained is applied onto a conductor, after which an organic solvent is removed to form an insulating coating. The method also has a process of working the conductor into a predetermined coil shape, and the insulating coating is formed on the conductor after, such process. The coil for the motor is manufactured by these methods.

An air gap V is formed between the flange portion-side end face 6a of the coil 6 and the flange portion 3 by the split die 51.
