The pipe in that state (a core-incorporated inner pipe CP) is played out of a supply drum (a small drum SS), and is reeled up to a take-up drum with a diameter different from that of the supply drum (a large drum TL), whereby, the cable core is compressed in a pipe length direction to form a slack at the cable core inside the pipe.
