    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas separation method and a gas separation apparatus using a hollow fiber porous membrane, which are excellent in selectivity, stability and gas separation speed and realize the considerable reduction of energy required for gas separation unattainable in the conventional membrane separation methods and absorption methods. SOLUTION: The gas separation method comprises the steps of: feeding a feed consisting of an absorbing liquid that absorbs a specified gas component in a raw material gas and the raw material gas to one surface of the hollow fiber porous membrane; causing the absorbing liquid in which the specified gas component in the raw material gas is absorbed to permeate the porous membrane; and diffusing the specified gas component absorbed on the permeation side which is kept at lower pressure than the feeding side.     • PURPOSE:To obtain an electrolyte-impregnated layer which is excellent in wettability and liquid-preserving property, by maintaining a filler in a porous space of polytetrafluorethylene-porous matrix made of fiber and its node connected to each other by this fiber. CONSTITUTION:Polytetrafluoroethylene powder is mixed with a liquid lubricating oil to make a mixture, which is subjected to extruding, rolling or the like to form a sheet; this formed substance is then drawn, at least, to one axis direction to obtain a porous matrix having a microstructure which comprises fine fiber and the node connected to each other. This porous matrix is a sheet-like substance having the average hole diameter of 0.1-50mum, the porosity of more than 30%, the thickness of 0.02-2mm.. The filler such as silicon carbide, silica, alumina, tantalum oxide. titanium oxide or the like is maintained in the porous space of this porous matrix.
