摘要： A vacuum canister includes a storage space and a removable lid. The lid includes a pump housing that defines a pumping chamber within which a sliding piston is disposed. The piston is connected to a handle via a piston rod and features a skirt-like piston valve that seals against the side wall of the pump housing when the piston travels downward but permits air to pass when the piston travels upward. Air is pumped from the canister storage space via the pump. A vacuum indicator and release valve are also positioned in the lid. A bellows communicates with the canister storage space and contracts when a vacuum is present. The bellows is connected to a lever which pivots to extend a button indicating the presence of the vacuum. Pushing the button causes the lever to engage a vacuum release valve.

摘要： A front squeeze trigger discharge assembly for use with a fire extinguisher having a pressurized extinguishing medium therein includes a housing defining a flow chamber. The housing has a front portion and a rear portion configured to rest in the hand of a user, and a pivotable trigger handle mounted to the housing and positioned at the front portion thereof. The pivotable trigger handle is configured for gripping by a user's fingers. The handle includes a pivot for rotating the handle relative to the housing between a first position and a second position toward the housing for discharging the extinguishing medium from the extinguisher. The handle includes a discharge nozzle positioned on the front of the housing and a discharge valve assembly operably connected to said trigger handle for providing a flow path between the container and the discharge nozzle. The trigger handle is pivotable from the first position to the discharge position inward of the housing by gripping the handle and pulling thereon, i.e., squeezing the handle, moving the discharge valve assembly to the discharge position. The housing also includes a nozzle stem which is adapted to interchangeably receive one of a plurality of different discharge nozzles to permit use of the assembly with different types and sizes of fire extinguishers containing different types of extinguishing media, stored at various pressures.

摘要： A method and apparatus for the treatment of bruxism through biofeedback is disclosed. In one embodiment, the apparatus consists of electronics (M1) mounted in a light-weight headband (HB1) which may be worn comfortably by a user during sleep or while awake. The bulber has a rigid steel inverted conical frustum body of at least two opposing and slightly overlapping sidewall members pivotably joined together and a handle attached opposite a serrated cutting edge of the body. A movable dirt release mechanism is positioned between the handle and the pivot point such that moving the mechanism toward the handle, i.e., a squeezing hand motion, forces the handle end of the side members inward, thereby pivoting the digging end of the sidewall members outward. The dirt release mechanism may be attached within the slotted openings by a slider, rollers, or any other suitable means.
