摘要： An emergency telephone call is supported and routed to a Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) in an IP based packet switched wireless communications network. An activate PDP context request is sent from a user equipment to the network. A parameter in said activate PDP context request indicates that the PDP context will be used to transfer an emergency call. An activate PDP context accept message is returned from said support node to said user equipment. Said activate PDP context accept message acknowledges said activate PDP context request message and provides the address of a call state control function. A call setup request transferred to the call state control function includes the Service Area Identity (SAI). The call state control function selects a PSAP based, at least in part, on the SAI included in the call setup request and forwards the emergency call to the selected PSAP.

In connection with the proposed network architecture, methods for handling service scripts within the network with regard to creation and storage of service scripts, provisioning the service scripts for a user, distribution of the scripts in the network and execution of the scripts during call processing are also described.

摘要： An object of the invention is a method for logging out a user of an application-layer service, the service being implemented with the aid of a user's wireless terminal, the terminal implementing a protocol stack comprising an application layer, and which application layer comprises a set of service applications for implementing application-layer services, and an application-layer control and signalling protocol, such as SIP (Session Initiation Protocol), for logging the user on application-layer services in a network and for logging the user out of application-layer services. According to the method, when switching off the wireless terminal, the user is logged using the application-layer control and signalling protocol out of at least one application-layer service of which the user has not logged out, or a conditional request for logging out the user is sent to the network.
